Nice R&T article... Tadge nicely says C7s are obsolete

TJ: We thought about keeping the old car in production. A lot of people were saying, “Why don’t we hedge our bets?” After we got this nailed as to what it looks like, what the specs are gonna be, what the reality of it was, you park them side by side, you can’t sell the old car.
They also explain other reason why no manual etc.

Safety Car
Didn’t Tadge say the same thing about the C6 when the C7 came out?
nothing new there, you have to hype up the new car as it should be.

Safety Car
there is not just the C7 that became obsolete after the reveal 95 percent of the car on the road are now.

My favorite revelation in the interview - the Frankenstein test mule from 2015 lives! This was the car built with a C7 cabin and Holden Ute front end and pickup bed. I hope we get to learn more about this beast in the future.

I still love my C7 and always will. I'd like a C8 for my Daily Driver.

C7 was a flop. Lets be honest, Tadge and the Corvette team could not wait for the run to end.

I guess some of you guys are new.... here's the joke. When the C7 came out he flubbed up and said the C6 was obsolete. It was taken out of context but the internet ran with it. My post, is a joke to some degree, that his statement about not being able to sell C7s when parked next to C8s, is reminiscent of his "obsolete" flub.
The C7 was a massive success for GM. I liked mine, but don't miss it.

Thanks liked it.
Lol, people really we all fought for years about them producing both FE & the ME. It was exhausting trying to convince everyone it was not going to happen just as the 100k plus pricing. TJ: We thought about keeping the old car in production. Makes sense. Good news for those with C7 that hate the C8 ME, they have a section called the C7 forum.
