I'm going to try to swing by MM within the next few days and take a look at RB in person. I was pretty sold on ELB, or so I thought but having 2nd thoughts.
For those who have one, or have seen a Rapid Blue close up, would you say the type of paint- aka not metallic, causes the body lines and curves of the C8 to be "lost"?
No... car looks great. Color has a lot of variance depending on light. The actual color is really close to 3M blue painters tape. It's not carolina blue or teal or aqua. In bright sun it brightens up a lot, but most cameras make it look brighter than it actually is.

The RB is one of the best, if not THE best color option for the C8, and the looks of the car IMO, is perfect when combined with the Tension Blue interior,
Is the suede stuff mandatory with the 3LT trim level, or can it be deleted?
I thought I was definitely going for ELB. I went by MM with my teen son tonight to see colors in person and we both agree RB is where it's at. He was trying to talk me into yellow but changed his mind too.
I was on the fence between Sebring Orange and Rapid Blue. Now I will have to wait and see what Amplify Orange looks like. The Blue two-tone interior might just be enough to push me over the edge. Two-tone grey for the AO doesn't have the same wow factor.
Mrs. Laguna and I cruised down to Ciocca today to check out the over 50 different exterior/interior color combos they had on site. Rapid Blue had been under consideration for my upcoming order, but trailed several other colors.
It is now well in the lead. Rapid Blue HTC with Carbon Flash roof, grey/black 2LT interior, spectra gray tridents; very much like the stunner above — but no Z51. Ciocca had one on site in that spec and it completely blew us away!

I still haven't seen it in person yet but I'm now leaning towards rapid blue instead of arctic white just from looking at pics and vids

Rapid Blue with Tension & Twilight interior absolutely rocks as it is the only C8 that really is colour matched inside & out. I get sooo many compliments on the car and even more on the colour scheme, for what it is worth. Happy Motoring!

I think that twilight blue interior is definitely the best ! but I don't wanna go 3lt because I don't want leather all over my dashboard, I'm gonna go rapid blue with the 2 tone grey and black interior. If I could have gotten the twilight blue in 2lt I would have 😪
Was built 7/22 and arrived in Iowa on 7/30. Managed to get my 500 miles on it already. Scheduled to drop off at Paragon Performance Thursday for sport cats and lowering collars installed.
