Interior is deal killer
Then you'd lose the clean lean look they achieved with just the two, driver centric screens on the dash. I also love the way they integrated the heating and AC vents into the dash design (and under the screen). Very clean, but futuristic design... perfect.
People can complain all they want about the unique design, but this is the first Corvette with a truly world class interior. C7 bridged the gap and got close, the C8 interior accomplished it.
many said the same thing about the last few generations because of something they didn't like. Most recently being that the C7 rear would be changed to round taillights

This looks stunning to me, along with the rest of the car

You're a pilot, and fly planes with controls literally strewn all over the cockpit. Yet, you think this is "overly busy"?
How is it "overly busy" when you have your typical controls on the drivers door, typical steering wheel controls, then the rest of the controls all in one strip on the center console?
Seems the opposite of "busy" to me. I mean, it's a little odd, because I haven't seen it done before, but "busy" is very far down the list of adjectives I'd use to describe it.
Other than that I love the interior, and it is certainlly not a "deal-killer".
To clarify, this is an iPad on the dash:
And this is part of a cockpit:
THERE IS NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER.
I am a little disappointed they went with the "floating iPad" design philosophy since most auto makers started moving away from that a generation ago.
Overall though I think it is functional interior that looks decent. Not a dealer killer for me. I am sure you will be able to get higher level interior trim options that will make it look better. The row of buttons almost reminds me of Porches from a generation or two ago though.
About it maybe being inconvenient for the passenger to adjust stuff. The driver picks the music, and controls the temp. I am OK with that.

Overall, I think the interior looks nice, but there are some quirky bits to it. I think I would need to see it in person and sit in it to make a final judgement though.
I will say this though, it’s definitely the best looking Corvette interior ever in my opinion.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Most were of necessity quite “busy” and maybe a very few not so much. But none had the outright direct simplicity of quality ergonomic design that the C8 has. The HVAC controls are brilliant and once the driver understands the groupings, only a quick glance would be required to find the desired control resulting in minimum driving distraction and some will be easily changed by feel only without so much as a glance. Also, a “co-pilot” can easily find the control they wish to adjust or which the driver requested them to adjust.
There’s a reason why every time a novice pilot or passenger steps into the cockpit that the first thing they say is, “How the hell do you guys and gals remember what all these buttons, *****, switches, levers and gauges are for?” That won’t be much of a problem with the C8 cockpit, unlike a number of other sports cars I’ve driven.
No problem with someone saying that the C8 cockpit is “Not my cup of tea” or “I just don’t like it.” But poor ergonomic design? Quite the opposite I would have to say.
But yeah, maybe the C9 cockpit will finally look like a real uncluttered airplane cockpit...

About the "infotainment" systems in modern cars. This one looks like they figured they'd just superglue an iPad in there. The Mercedes screen shown above isn't better (and looks way too "early 2000 sci-fi" not to feel dated very soon). The Tesla one looks like another superglued iPad. At least in some cars it can be operated by the passenger though which does not look like an option in the C8.
Overalll, I think the interior would have benefited from not having the huge extra screen.
