Just curious. Classic up in Grapevine, outside of Dallas is the highest volume in the state, any idea on their plan?

I know someone who is getting a car at MSRP at Jerry's Chevy out 30 minutes of out DFW.
Might try there. Everyone else was 5-10K mark up.

In my discussions with Parkway Chevrolet (Tomball), they do have a MSRP list but they also have a $5K over list! Won’t be hard to figure out who gets their car first. I have never had much luck dealing with the sales folks here. Tried on both my 09 Z and 2016 Z but no luck. Went with the forum dealers both times. Parkway’s service department has always treated me right but I have had minimum work done there. (Shudder flush) and the GM oil changes.

After getting on the list with Parkway (Houston), and trying to email and call, they finally let me know they would be taking a 20,000 deposit in November. I clarified this was an up charge to MSRP. Needless to say, I called Classic Sugarland (Houston), and Aaron let me know they were at MSRP. Much better experience so far.

Yeah... no thanks on Mac Haik... swore I would NEVER step foot on a Mac Haik dealership ever again after my last experience there back in ‘99. (And full disclosure, my grandmother was actually friends with Mac Haik, himself.)

Talked in a salesman today and he mentioned they had 90'ish on the list with 48 allocations in the first batch and 48 in the next. He also mentioned they were taking NON refundable deposits. He also said last week he was told by Chevrolet they were sold out. Not sure if he knows what going on at Henna or Chevrolet. Just what he mentioned.

...as with most dealerships the sales force is pretty clueless. Ask for James, the Corvette specialist at the dealership and he can give you all the correct information.
We know that Chevy's not sold out. I doubt that the dealership is either.
$1000 non refundable deposit is because they got burned on a few C7's in 14, refundable deposits and several backed out on them.

FWIW, twenty years is a long time. I dealt with Jason Chan, as I had a good experience on my 2019 purchased from him. My service experience has been good on two oil changes and three tire replacements, under tire warranty.

I am not going to get into the details here, because it is just a waste of my time, but suffice it to say, I have purchased 30-something vehicles in my lifetime, and MH was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any dealer (with NW Dodge coming in second, but for their service depot mainly)
I might feel different if they were offering something that no one else offered, but that just isn't the case... and that is something that a lot of dealers simply don't get...or choose to ignore... losing one sale usually means losing a lot more sales in the future, and MH has lost my business forever, which I am certain means absolutely nothing to them.
