Those yellow cars look mostly orange to me. The new C8 color looks like yellow lime, and I like it.
I'll edit this and state that it could be just the photographs not quite color corrected properly. I do have a photographers monitor and am pretty sure that isn't it.

As a Mustang guy I can tell you that the picture there is far from representative of what the real yellow is. I'm sure the C8's yellow will be perfectly fine. Even if the C8 configuration's yellow was indeed that yellow, I'd be totally okay with it. I like that shade of "green" as you all say.
Fun fact, the engine used on the rendering software is Epic Game's Unreal Engine

Ya! I also thought that darker teal color from the first year of the c6 was nice.
Well it has been said on here multiple times over. I hear more complaints than positives about the new yellow. We do have to wait until we see it, but we can do a comparison for now on photo vs photo.

May i hope they bring back this yellow. Looks great on the NSX; I bet it would be amazing on the C8.
I'd like point out just how inaccurate comparisons like this are. Pictures of real cars on the internet can be doctored and don't necessarily look anything like real life. The C8 isn't even a picture of a real car. It's a digital image by GM. We should all know by now that those digital images don't really look anything like the color does in real life.
It's not. Accelerate yellow has metallics in it. Shock has no metallic at all. It's a neon highlighter yellow. Here's a better pic of Shock.
I read some where the corvette color is the same paint code as the awful shock color. I have not seen shock in person, but I cannot believe there is no metallic or pearl in that color.

It might be awful to you, but some people like it.
Everyone has different opinions on color, and some of us are happy some modern colors, like Shock on Camaro, are ending up on Chevy's.
