Default Sky Cool Gray interior ?

Can someone who has seen this in person tell me what it really looks like? All the pics that I have seen make it look plain white.

Thanks!!!

I was disappointed when I saw it in person, especially as it was hopefully going to be our first choice interior color with ELB. After seeing it on the tour car on the east coast, it looked like dirty white to me, significantly lighter gray than the configurator shows. Keep in mind, it's a very subjective thing. Something I'm not to keen on others may love.

After seeing it, we switched game plans and are now doing Torch Red with a two toned red/ black interior.

Agreed, color does look dirty. Also, good chance of jean transfer.

I've seen the C7 Gray which really is a nice light gray. I think what made it look dirty were the perforations in the seat centers. Two tone with black centers would visually eliminate that.
Some who saw it in person said it did not look dirty...

I saw that interior Friday at a C8 viewing the exterior of C8 was Sebring Orange and that combo didn’t do anything for me, loved the C8 in Sebring Orange just not with the Gray interior. Now keep in mind the observation I had was at at viewing inside with a lot I mean a lot of people getting in and out of C8. I might have had a different impression on interior if I saw it out side and maybe with a Shadow Gray or Long Beach Red exterior. To answer your question the Gray looks like a nice like Gray not whiteish. Here is picture of C8 I saw.The Gray looked good with the black accent interior parts . If you zoom in on seat in picture you can the seat back were dirty from everyone getting in and out. Head rest and supports give you a better idea on color.

Saw the orange car right after the Kerbeck show when supposedly no-one sat in the car. Seats were already a little dirty. If you're fanatical about cleaning the interior, it looks really nice. Kind of like the attention that a black car needs when the pollen count is high....or the exhaust tips on the C7 Z51. If it gets too dirty, grab some shoe polish and dye the centers black....kidding.

That’s not dirt, it’s the perforations for ventilated seats. The holes get progressively bigger from the outside to inside of the seat to give it a fade look.

I saw it at the Reveal. It wasn't dirty but the perforations gave off that look! Like it was dingy.

Like some said maybe the two-tone would fix that.

Just looked at in two-tone on the website. looks good.

I have been debating whether to get the Sky Cool Gray interior. I know that having a lite gray, in places that will get touched frequently, will show dirty fingerprints easily. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get the Jet Black interior with two-tone Sky Cool Gray seats. I think the gray stitching and the aluminum accents will add enough contrast to break up all the majority Jet Black interior.

I am a big fan of gray interiors, not many people order them on the Corvette compared to the other choices. And it is way cooler to sit on if you leave the car outside on a hot day. I would almost get second degree burns sitting on the black leather seats in my C5, but in my old C6 and my current C7 (both with gray interior) I don't have that problem.

Based on what I saw it reminds me of the Ceramic Gray exterior paint color.

I liked it a lot when I saw that with the Elkhart Lake blue. It immediately became my first choice interior color and will be what I will order with torch red exterior. I saw a video of the same color combination at one of the dealership tour in NY.

I don't like a full gray interior...just too much.

The two-tone looks a little nicer.

I like gray seats with a full black interior the best (option R6X).

Thanks for all the input guys.....think I might just do jet black or adrenilin red. I’m #22 on my dealers list and already traded in my 2016 1lt Z51 NRB C7. Plan on getting a 2lt Z51 C8 in Shadow Gray with the lift and a few other goodies😁

I am not sure if it'll be the same with the C8, but with the C7 I've got a 1LT with gray interior and I like that it comes with gray carpets and gray seats, but then the rest of it is black, so it's a two tone look without the two tone price

Default Underexposed Photo

Your photo is underexposed. The "gray" is much lighter.

It looks like the Dove gray in my BMW E36 M3.. I've owned that car 24 years, and STILL regret getting gray. NEVER again... Yes they look gorgeous when new, but they don't stay new, no matter how you try...

Basic jet black for me..

I saw and sat in the orange car with the sky cool gray interior and really liked it. In many photos it looks white, but it is a VERY light gray. It is lighter than the online visualizer but not exactly white. I thought it was a very nice clean and classy look in the car. The black carpet and other interior pieces with the light gray looked good. I am doing Torch Red and had planned to do natural interior, but after seeing the sky cool gray decided to switch. I think they are right about the holes in the GT2 seats making it look dirtier than it is. I am getting GT1 seats that have fewer perforations. Hopefully it will look great.
