Default New C8Z mules heading to CO

These were spotted on I80 in Nebraska headed west. Are they the new Z model since they are still wrapped? Fenders and intake look a little larger. What are your thoughts? Photos are from Nebraska Car Spotters FB page.

I could be wrong but those dont look like the C8Z that was on the track, looks like the stingray. Great clickbait title though

They must be the stingray. But why the wrap still? The car that was on the track was the C8R. Not click bait it, it was a question.

How did you determine that they were headed to Colorado, since they were on I-80 and I-80 does not ever enter CO? Could also be headed to WY, UT, NV and CA and never get off I-80.

If you were to leave Detroit Michigan and go to Denver Colorado. You would pass through Nebraska and jump on I-76 just past Ogallala. They do that quite often.

That is NOT the Stingray...............Fenders are different on front and back, Scoops look different. Wider stance. Wheels look mad tucked too for those fenders.

Could it be that since it is reasonable to think that GM is waiting to show Accelerate Yellow until they reveal the C8.R, these camo'd cars are AY and they have used extra tape to make sure the camo stays in place?

No, impossible. The Z06 is 5-8 years away 🙄 lol. Those pics def seem to have different front and rear Panels if you really analyze them, I think we’re seeing the first shots of the Z

Jesus H Christ but I can't wait for some SUBSTANTIVE actual DRIVING tests and performance DATA to be released for these cars.

So we really have something to discuss here. Other than rumors and wishful thinking.

When I was at my dealer yesterday ordering my C8, the boss indicated there were 50 vehicles going to the dealer/tech training site in Nevada. He is scheduled to attend later in the year. I think it is at Spring Mountain.

Same cars? They have orange electrical wires and connectors coming out the hood. Orange usually means battery power in an EV or hybrid.

I dunno, are they gonna make the Z and Zora both hybrid?... still think twin turbo for the Z, and leave the hybrid for the Zora.

Well the other thread got locked, so I'll copy my post here to continue the discussion.

The square orange and gray part looks like a high voltage manual disconnect. Its used to quickly disconnect from a high voltage source in an emergency.

The red handle looks a separate manual battery disconnect.
