This is a car that you need to see, in person. Like the Rapid Blue, and the Zeus Bronze.

What is the point of this thread? We still haven't seen the color on a real car other than the brief paint shop video of the panels getting base coated.

@jvp any insight as to if there's an issue with the color? If not, when might we see one?

None and no. Those aren't the kinds of things I get told. :-)

I feel like I would really need to see this color in person since there have been changes vs the previous yellow used on Corvette. More of a green hue. I mean if you really love yellow and don't mind more of a green hue to it you might be fine, but that's a big thing to gamble on if you don't end up liking it.

yep, and tried to say it’s a picture of a real car, but also said maybe it’s photoshopped.

ITS CLEARLY PHOTOSHOPPED and not an actual car. It looks exactly like the configurator site image. So dumb...

They don't... the red car above is an actual GM photo of the actual car.

And this from the build and price. We've had this for quite a while now...

The strike is the reason we haven't seen one yet. The plant painted body panels this color as we were shown at the NCM's Anniversary Celebration. I'm sure they had originally planned to have one ITW by now, but the strike has delayed that from taking place.

I was pro union until I read this. I can forgive waiting a month longer for the cause but at least have one built so we all can see before you close shop.

I feel worse for people who have C7's under warranty and have not been able to drive them for 4+ weeks because there are no parts available due to the strike. I am sure GM finance will be calling you and sending you nasty letters if you don't make your car payment on time though.

The older millenium yellow was leaning towards a more orangy warm hue of Yellow and in person the Velocity definitely leans towards a more greenish hue .. you have to see it.. I wish they would go back to the old Yellow much warmer Yellow as opposed to the brash hue of the newer greenish yellow. It's all subjective to the viewer tho..
