I hope at least 1 week, ahead. I'm sure he will let us know where he is at. Being he will be one of the first produced.

Nice I'm at Jim Ellis as well. What number were you on list and when did you put deposit down if you don't mind telling?

I am #125 last time i checked, so still a good ways to go unfortunately.

Now that is one early build and congratulations. Know you will keep us informed so thanks. Assuming your original tpw was 12/2 and back when those first wave of allocations went out I thought the high wing and other items were not available to order. Or thought that was what I was told. Again congratulations!

I think I was second in their system but 1st to be picked up when they were entered. There was a constraint on the first car as I recall. Deposit was a long time ago. Just over 3 years.
There are a number of others over there at 3000 but aren't moving as fast as mine. Not sure why that is. Only dealership/salesman I have dealt with in the last 30 years for corvettes.

Ok, I’m confused. Did GM change their processes because on the C7 they did not release the VIN# until the car was built?

Extra special being a very early owner. It will cool having a car that some Corvette lovers will tell you is the first one they’ve even seen. Happened to me for the first time in my life with the C7 ZR1..

Since you asked, I went way back to my ‘05 C6 I bought new that I spec’d as SRE-Retail Sold. From 3000 to 3400 was almost 2 months. But it then took another 12 days to go from 3400 to 3800. My VIN was 117X and maybe had something to do with an early QC hold. This C8 timeline looks to be much different.
CSEVEN, hold your breath for any haters that take you up. You do mean the actual specific day recorded it goes to 3800? It may be close.
