I wouldn't doubt some jackass is fishing for suckers. 250 grand and it's not even fully loaded.
I doubt anyone bites. I saw a recent new C8 owner video where they took it to carmax for a quote. They offered 80k. The youtuber said in actuality they could flip it for over 100k. But 250k is a ridiculous pipedream.
There are a lot of people out there with FU money. I wouldn’t be too surprised if it sells.
Maybe they like the seller and will do future business together, who knows. Lol
The car is already reduced to 155K, but the poster lives in a rural house near Tustin, Michigan, it is between Cadillac and Paris...his location must have gone to his head.
He probably tried LA because all the dealers in Michigan are selling at retail. Every day I am on the Xways I will see at least 2 or 3 C8's, it is growing on me.
This guy is nuts. According to the thread of dealers selling at MSRP most are selling at MSRP except in California obviously and a few larger cities. Of course the numb nuts in the Los Angeles area are paying $700K for fixer upper 1400 sq ft houses in old run down neighborhoods according the TV shows so who knows what they will pay for a car.
I thought that the C8 only came with an automatic transmission? This one is listed as a manual... According to the map this car is in Michigan...
A lot of folks insist upon calling DCTs "manuals" because it is a clutch-based transmission. However, it is undeniably an automatic transmission. The best torque converter (TC) automatics like the ZF8 can be shifted manually as well with nearly instant paddle shifts The lag difference between well-tuned TC autos and good DCTs is fractions of a second.
