Default C8 engine cover installtion

Got my red cover in yesterday and installed today.

Piece of cake. About 15 minutes. Love the look. Really pops.

Default Chevy forgot to paint emnlem?

Why have the emblem and leave uncolored? When have you ever seen a Corvette logo left in plain solid color?

Saved money? The plastic cover is $499 list. Nice job to those who painted. They could have affixed an actual emblem if painting was inconvenient in production process...

Can the corvette script on each side be removed easily without damage?
is it glued on or just snapped on.

Someone posted a video or pictures....they pried it off with a small flathead.

Edit...I searched for it here and some other places and couldn't locate it. Perhaps someone else can find it. I hope to do something unique with mine when I get it but not sure what....so I am interested as well!

Thought I would update this - Just finished removal - its well glued on - I used a thin stainless wire between the metal script and cover and it came off with a little bit of effort. Heating beforehand would probably help. Just cleaned up the glue with a little bit of acetone. Much better and faster than masking.

The one I’m getting has the emblem already done. Plus the seller noted that even though the cover is orange he will do the Corvette letting in red for more pop. Will take pic when I get it.

Default Aftermarket C8 logo- cover sized emblem?

So who will be the first aftermarket emblem to fit exact on this cover to save the hand painting efforts? The adhesive will have to be heat tolerable this engine bay gets hot.
