1961 Corvette I’ve owned 35 years and counting, purchased a week before I married my Chevy loving wife. The 283 2x4 270hp engine sits rebuilt in the garage, with a ZZ4 under the hood. The rest of the car and drivetrain is original. The second picture shows the Michigan State police chasing down my 61 Corvette at the Detroit Grand Prix. My daughter, sitting in the passenger seat, said it was the scariest thing she has ever experienced. A lot of squealing tires and prayers when braking at top speeds, but who says you can’t track a C1 Corvette. 61 getting ready to “Cruise Detroit” the morning of the “Woodward Dream Cruise” State police chasing me down. One wrong turn and they get so upset when you join the race.
'61-'62 in those colors began my interest in Corvettes, beautiful car !
Thanks for entering, everyone! It's been amazing to see all your great Corvettes. We're in the process of picking winners now (it's a really tough choice!), but we'll be reaching out to each soon. Once we confirm all our winners, we'll then announce them here.
Were all entries with multiple photos disqualified? The rules stated "a photo".
I'm not one of the rules officials or anything, but technically posting 5 photos still fulfills the requirements of "a photo". There was no restriction on posting more than one, just that "a photo" must be posted. And while we are reading the rules, you may notice that winners are notified by PM and have 4 days to respond. I'm guessing that we won't see the list until next week at the earliest. For the record I don't have any PMs notifying me that I won.

Actually, "a photo" is singular and therefore does limit the number of photos that can be submitted under the rules. Some people believe that by submitting multiple photos it gives them an advantage over others. I actually will be ok with whatever the judges decide. I just pointed out what is obvious gramatically.

And.....That will conclude the English/Grammar lesson for today....

If we are going to split hairs, “a photo” would seem to limit how many different photos a person could submit, but not how many times they could submit that photo. I personally submitted two different photos of my Corvette but then my posting those photos was not driven by some need to compete, it was driven by my desire to show off a car I am proud to own. I suspect others felt the same way about their submissions. I would like to add a message to those that can’t seem to resist, not every nit needs picking, not every parade needs rain and not every thread needs a Karen.
To the ones that are crying about one Photo only??? What if someone has custom work done to the front, sides or Rear of the vehicle? How are you supposed to do that with one Photo Only????

We're in the process of confirming our winners now. An announcement will follow as soon as we've heard back from all three of them.
Regarding the rules, entry only required a single photo, but we're happy to see that many went above and beyond with multiple pictures and descriptions. For future contests when applicable, we'll be sure to further clarify in our official rules the "a photo" minimum.

I have no idea who believes what, but IMO a photo set a minimum, not a maximum. We can just agree to disagree. Good luck!
