Jerry, you might want to re check about delivery time on the Amazon link..... it's October 6 to 28. I was looking at buying it earlier today. Still looking.....
Also, seeking a set of Torx Plus sockets too.
When I bought in May they were in stock and got in a few days. Must be ordering from China themselves!
I have more different tools than the C8 has suppliers all for the same thing reinvented over and over,....And that isn't even considering English vs Metric. That double it again.
Still haven't bought the brake caliper socket yet. Amazing that something used on so many Euro cars as well as the C8 is so hard to come by. You'd think every Auto Parts store would stock them.
An E16 is a standard external Torx bit and there are some degree differences (like 15 degrees) on the drive surfaces. The EP is Torx Plus and it basically gets a better, less likely to slip and strip, drive on the fastener. In this case the shallow head fasteners on the C8 are Torx Plus and if you want the sockets that actually fit correctly, you need to buy Torx Plus external or EP. The number is the size, like EP12, EP14, EP16, etc.

You should probably look for a set that range from EP10-EP20. There are more sizes of these fasteners on the car than the EP16 on the aluminum belly pan.
You know, sometimes it's a nice present to myself to visit the Snap-On or Matco truck...Really good tools are expensive for a reason...lol But they are very nice.
