Default (VIDEO) Corvettes at Carlisle, 2020 HTC Owner Interview & Top Operation Overview

I arrived at Corvettes at Carlisle this afternoon, said "hi" to Mike Furman and our friends from Spring Mountain Motor Resort/Ron Fellows Performance Driving School, checked out Mike Furman's 2020 Corvette Coupe, and then found Al & Andrea showing off their newly delivered 2020 Corvette Hard Top Convertible (HTC). Al talked with me about their new Corvette and allowed me to check out the top and rear window operation, engine access, and other elements of the new HTC. Thanks to Al & Andrea for taking time to share their new Corvette with us!

My apologies for the wind noise during the interview. The wind was blowing so hard that organizers asked people to either stake their tents or take them down.

Great post Jeremy! Tell Mike I said hello. Hope to make it to Carlisle some day. Loved your amazement at the hills in PA compared to the flatlands of OK. Looked like you had fun on the drive. Thanks for the great video of Al and Andrea’s beautiful new HTC. Beautiful car.

BJ

This is the first Corvettes at Carlisle I’ve missed since 2004. Regretfully, other priorities got in the way. So Jeremy please shoot lots of video for those of us not able to be there. And if possible try and get a view of the HTC, top down, and with the engine cover removed. That, I think, would probably be a first. Enjoy the weather, Pennsylvania scenery, hospitality, and try to swing by the small Amish towns near Lancaster, Pa as you begin your trip home. Their names will make you smile. And the all you can eat smorgasbords are great!

Great video review of the top operation! I wasn't aware the 3LT HTC headliner doesn't receive any stitching like the 3LT coupes.

Thanks Jeremy! Best video yet of the HTC operation and details inside the top area! Shirley & I have our deposit down with Mike Furman for a 2021 HTC. Can't wait to take delivery at the Museum next year and have a fun vacation drive back to Oregon!
