ORDERED 8/12/19
3000 8/17/19
3300 11/5/20
3400 11/19/20
3800 11/25/20
My dealer had 8 cars (including mine) built this week....and considering 10 is a full load. I would be willing to bet mine goes 4200 pretty quick and could arrive by the end of next week. we will see!! if not.....it will before the 11th.

Mine had 2. It wouldn’t surprise me if they have already shipped the one built after mine. I’ve decided to sell it now anyway as there’s too much negative baggage associated with it for me. It’s now a symbol of everything that’s gone wrong...kinda like a long distance internet relationship that didn’t pan out once you met in person. Much higher expectations for my 2021 though, so I can look at it with no bad taste in my mouth. At least in the interim, I’ll have one to drive a few miles now and then until the next one makes it to 4000. It will make a good test vehicle for me about seat choice, interior/exterior color and even coupe/HTC, so I can have a better 2021 for my tastes.

this has been a BANNER day!!! I know I told you my guy texted me eariler.....he's off today, but keeps track of all his Vette orders for the dealership even when he's at home. ANYWAY....about 30 minutes after he texted me, he called, and wanted to tell me they got a LOAD SHEET from Cooper and my car was loaded at 10:43 a.m. today!! I am only a 2 day drive from BGA....depending on whether they left today or Tomorrow....my car could be at the dealership late Friday or on Saturday!! then possibly pick it up the next day.

Our C8 Order time-line is listed below so others still waiting for progress with their C8 Order can compare/contrast the timing that our Order experienced:
11/05 3300 (Scheduled for Production)
11/18 3400 (Broadcast, we requested our Partial VIN from Dealer to use per C8J's SS)
11/25 3800 (Produced, car off the line,1st Shift early afternoon per the SS)
11/25 4000 (Available to ship)
11/26 & 11/27 TG Holiday
12/01 4200 (Shipped, car departed BGA on a Truck)
12/03 4300 (Intermediate Delivery, assume car unloaded at Toledo Rail Yard for its train ride to the Seattle area)
We are now waiting for 4800 (Rail Ramp Unload, Destination) which we've been told can take 3 to 6 weeks, with a little luck we can take Delivery (6000) of our C8 in late December.
Our best wishes for speedy Order processing for everyone still waiting for progress on their MY2020 C8 Order, keep the faith, once the Order begins to move, it seems to go fast... a typical Corvette trait .

although my car was loaded on a trailer on Thursday ay 10:32 a.m.....along with 5 other cars coming to my dealership. It still hasn't left BGA....WTF!!! yeah I know they are waiting for a full load, but I would think that they KNOW which cars are going where and have that all plannerd out....for efficiency sake anyway. And knowing they don't drive/deliver cars on Sunday's....I have to believe in this day and age with things the way they are....if I were a driver, I wouln't want to get half way and have to expose a half load of C8's "in the wild". I thought I read somewhere that J. Cooper had 10 days to deliver once dealerships where sent a loadsheet for their cars?? anyone else remember or know this to be true??
EDIT: as I was finishing up this post, I got an email from "my guy" and they recieved yet another LOAD SHEET for my load dated TODAY and has at the top "PICKUP / INSPECTION DATE"....seeing as how they thought it should have left 2 days ago (they normally get this notification/document the day they leave BGA), they are thinking that possibly they were either short a truck or one broke down....time will tell.

of the 6 in my load....4 were built Thanksgiving Week (one on Monday, 3 on Wednesday), and 2 were built on the 30th.....but it only show the cars going to my dealership...wish it showed the destination of all 10, as that would give me a clue on how may stops they will make. I am pretty sure we are close to the end of the line as its 870 miles from the delership to Bowling Green. so we are just inside the 1000 mile range for truck deliveries.

Just picked up our C8 from North Dallas dealership. It was a long wait but its finally here. Salesman was wonderful. I told the dealership not to wash, wipe, polish or stick anything on the car. Next step will be wheels swapping, 5VM front splitter, PPF and ceramic coating.

TODAY was a day like no other....today I got up and left to go by the dealership to get the my current vette apprised so that was one less thing to do or wait on once the car FINALLY arrives, and to drop off a couple parts that they will install.......been there about 15 minutes and out of the BLUE WTH pulls up right outside my guys window....A FRICKIN' TRACTOR TRAILER LOAD of VETTEs!!! and MINE was on the TOP FRONT!!!!!!
there were six on the truck for the dealership....once they got them all offloaded, seeing as I was there, they took mine first to make it ready for delivery, SOOOOO I was taking my baby home TODAY!!!! 485 days after I placed my order!!!
