is this getting a much higher take rate than anticipated ?
When the HTC was revealed it seemed like the vast majority of people scoffed at the Black Nacelles as a WTF offering. I have to say that I've seen quite a few pics of cars delivered with them. Post em if you got em ?
I think the htc looks great both ways. I think those not opting for black nacelles from the factory should be able to have them wrapped for a few years...then have them removed and dramatically alter the looks of their car every few years...
ive never wrapped anything so dont hold me to it. I cant imagine it would cost that much and it should hold up well.
the black painted nacelles do look sharp. They do tend to hide the body line cuts as well. Not really important yet it is a benefit on light colored cars.

Body color on my Accelerate HTC. I liked it better. Without saying my choice, I asked my wife, my sons and a couple of their friends for opinions on different combinations like the black top in addition to just black nacelIes. I was surprised that all of them chose the body color. Regardless, you can't go wrong either way. The car is so sharp, all the combinations look damn good. To each his own.
IMO, it does look really sharp on most HTC I have seen. I wish there was an option to keep the A pillars and the strip above the windshield body color and the narcelles and roof black. Thats the only part I dont care for. Its still a C8 HTC and is amazing regardless of color.
I like them on the light color HTCs. I won't be getting it on my Red Mist. it's not an inexpensive option, so as mentioned above, I can wrap it if I change my mind. Also hoping the the paint will have enough life to be the star of the show.

Not that I remember. Some liked it. Some didn’t. I think it looks very cool.
The character line of the nacelles runs all the way to the trunk. Thus, the body color nacelles look longer and more dramatic, and the black nacelles look a bit stubby. I like both though, and feel the carbon flash nacelles look good on the lighter colors.
