Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to complete these?
About a week and a half after waiting on fiberglass to set up, and paint supplies to arrive. Actually only spent an hour or two each day, molding and sanding and....waiting for resin to kick.
Why would anyone lower the car after spending $1995 on E60? Explain.
That's the beauty about the front lift. You can lower the car by approx. an 1" to eliminate the stock ride height tire to fender gap while still maintaining the flexibility to raise the vehicle during steep driveway slopes, speed bumps or any other lower fascia scuffing situations.
I lowered my Z51 with magride but no front lift last week. Lowered as far as it would go which was about an inch I think. I'm very happy with the results. Looks better. Handles better and ride quality is very close to stock.
Personally I would not install aftermarket springs then. The MSRC has been specifically programmed with the stock spring rates, one you start installing aftermarket springs you likely will have different spring rates and MSRC will not be optimized for them. At least that's my thought process.

That looks spot on to me. I would not want to go any lower. Very nice.
See i thought you could lower a Z51 without mag ride but some in this thread are saying you need it. So I too am confused about what can and can't be lowered with stock hardware
This is incorrect. You need to have Z51 to have the adjustable coilover shocks. MRC makes no difference at all... I have a 2021 Z51 with MRC and ALL Z51's have adjustable shocks. (again except if you have the front lift. then you need the collars.)
For 2021, MSRC without Z51 gives you the mag shocks (and associated adjustable spring perches) and nothing ,more. No bigger brakes, no eLSD, no PTM, no additional cooling, etc.

So you get the 1 inch back that you lowered plus the 1.8 inch that the front lift gives you? 2.8 inches from lowered height?
Nice!! A couple of questions please. I have MSRC with the front lift and I'm anticipating on lowering also depending how the car looks after I get my wheels.
Are those Strasse wheels?
Are those 19/20 or 20/21. I have SM5RT Deep Concave FS 20/21 set nearing completion and curious about your set up.
TIA

If you lower the car 1" and the lift provides 1.8", you would be 0.8" higher than stock when lifted...
I really knew the answer.
Thats an expensive .8 inch, and defeats the whole purpose of the lift in the first place. You lower a car, then spend almost $2000 to lift it .8 inch? I thought people bought the lift to eliminate, mostly, if not totally, scraping.
I just don’t see the reward. Is .8 inch going to help much?

It certainly does for me with my driveway ramp angle. No issues after lowering the car and using the front end lift.

This was confirmed by the Corvette team.
Are you sure? Part of why I was leaning towards Z51 was so I could easily lower it...this would be great if indeed true...just haven’t seen this anywhere else.
Anyone have rubbing issues after lowering during spirited driving or hitting dips?
I haven’t had any rubbing issues at all since lowering while driving on the roads. The only issue is a little less clearance on driveways and speed bumps but I’m willing to live with that.
