I have no means of knowing for sure but I suspect some cars have been built and are sitting on the lot awaiting computer chips before being released. I wouldn't be concerned, at least you're getting close. I was scheduled for production next Wednesday but now am being pushed back further due to the chip shortage (it's not just transmissions now). I'm afraid for us waiting in the que that this chip problem has a LONG way to go before it's going to be resolved. I expect many more delays and shutdowns for at least another year. I've researched this problem with some insiders in the industry and it's a very deep problem.

Yours is going to the Houston area and mine to Dallas...so they will not be riding together. I just found out that I misunderstood Shane, I thought he said 4D00 but the dealership said I'm at 4B00 they said I'm awaiting a full truck to the Dallas area. So I should be in good shape. Hang in there to all of us

Spoke with my dealer today and he informed me that my car is scheduled to be shipped and should be at the dealership on Monday! Didn't quite expect that quick of a shipment, but very happy.

My dealer just called me today (5/22) and said my order has gone from 3000 to 3300. But with the factory closing again next week, everything is up in the air.

Mine was built 5/19. I waited until yesterday to check with my dealer on delivery status. He said to check back Monday but that he had little information on shipping time frame

I went 3400 last week finally with TPW of last week. Concierge said on Friday to call Monday (tomorrow) to see if it was built last week. Hoping for the best.

#14558 was built, what is your vin?

Do you have your partial VIN (Dealer should be able look it up for you). Once you have it, if the last 5 digits are less or equal to 14558, then your car was built.

My C8 was supposed to be built last week but the CC said they can't see where it was built. That sucks. My dealer doesn't know how to get the partial VIN.

My Mist Red/natural dipped leather interior, HTC Z51 3LT was built last week and awaiting shipment. No VIN yet from the dealer. Looks like the long road is almost at an end.

So got confirmation from the dealer that my car is getting picked up by Jack Cooper for transport. I live in Vegas. Anyone have an idea on transport time. A quick google search shows an average of 27 hours and change drive time. I'm not sure on the rules/regulations on how long truckers can drive in a day and I'm sure there will be other drop offs along the way as well. The dealer didn't have any clue other than saying it should be here in the next few days.

Did they tell you when it is going to be picked up? Mine is currently en route to my dealership (Stevens Creek Chevy - Chevy Vick) and it is almost getting through Utah and into Nevada. It left on Thursday 5/30 and had 1 stop so far which was this morning and that appears to be at Larry H Miller Chevrolet. What threw me off is that they do not show any corvettes expected so either the transport vehicle had some trucks or cars already loaded before getting to Bowling Green or they were picked up en route, but I cannot see from where. I know Fairfield has an incoming vette (C8) so he is likely to stop there with their car (I am assuming, since the system show they have one at 4200)

Also My driver took Sunday off, the transport truck shows it was parked in Rock Springs WY from 5pm Saturday until 6am

I am thinking my car should be here Wednesday or Thursday which means 6 to 7 days for West coast cars.

Also I have a lot of friends in the transport biz and here are the rules on driving
"According to the 14-hour rule, a property-carrying driver may not drive beyond the 14th consecutive hour after coming on duty. The driver can’t resume driving unless he/she has taken 10 consecutive hours off-duty."
