Sky Cool Gray sucks...
I took delivery of my HTC 3 days ago and i think i made a huge mistake by going with the Sky Cool Gray seats. I've barely driven the car 30 miles and i can already see the jean stains on the seat. These aren't even brand new jeans, they are old and have been washed many times. Although i love the color combination i chose, it seems that long term these seats are going to require extensive care and constant cleaning. Those of you who are on the fence about ordering this color, i would think about it twice and maybe go with the two tone black/gray option instead of the entire seat sky cool gray.
With that said, for those of you that have sky cool gray, what are you guys using to clean the seats?

I hve Sky Cool Gray seats and constantly wear jeans. Over 2000 miles and there is absolutely no color transfer. I have the microfiber inserts. Maybe they don't take dye transfer as easily.

This is exactly what I was worried about with the adrenaline red seats. I want a ceramic matrix grey with red interior but I may go for a black interior just because I know it’ll look perfect for a long time.

Might want to go over to the car care section for lot of discussion. I feel your pain.....been there with other cars.

I also ordered Grey but two toned. Black seating surface and grey side bolsters. I plan on using this product on the leather when I get the car (next week).
Pinnacle Black Label Leather & Vinyl Coating
From what I read, it is suppose to eliminate or reduce the dye transfer from clothing to the leather.

I didn't want to take that chance. I ordered custom interior "HUU" black seats, red stitching with red door inserts and center console in red

I’m so glad to hear your take on Sky Cool Grey seats, and especially that you have microfiber inserts. I have ordered the same interior in my SO HTC. I will have it soon 5/3 TPW. I’m sure there aren’t to many that have SCG with microfiber seating inserts.

And this is why my first choice is this, custom black, red seats, red stitching. My C4 Hardtop Convertible had a gray interior. Major buzz-kill. But that's my problem.

After you get them clean, you might consider coating them with this:

My jeans transfer a ton of blue dye as well to my other cars, I've found Meguiar's leather wipes do a really good job getting it off.

3,300+ miles with Sky Cool Gray and no dirt or color transfer issues. I wipe down the leather with cleaner every week or two when I clean the inside.
