Unfortunately, that's how it got it's well deserved reputation and nickname of the "forever 3000" club. Of course, recently, and perhaps even more frustrating is the "forever on quality hold" club some are experiencing. No fun to be a member of both, that's for sure.
I'm one of those in the forever on quality hold club. 11 days and counting. I have heard from someone in the know that the parts issue is a reason for some of the cars on hold. With the great production numbers this past week I hope they don't forget about those of us on hold.

I'm guessing my TPW of 12/13 is related to supply issues and I would rather wait a little longer and hopefully missing parts will be available and they won't have to hold my car!
Just got word that my TPW is 12/13 too. Is that a good indication that the car will be delivered before the end of the year? Holiday's may put a damper on things, but I'm not complaining!
I am still at 1100 at my dealership. I have a GM Work Order Number now. My understanding is the next level is 3000. Is that when you are assigned a VIN #?
Your next step will be 2000 which is GM accepting the order (aka an allocation to build the car). 3000 is when it goes to actual production control. Your vin will be assigned once the 3000 codes start rolling down lining your car for actual line placement.
Long time lurker, first post. Dumb question - How accurate has this spreadsheet been? From what I see, it has been pretty darn accurate. But, the odd thing is my order with MM is scheduled for a TPW of 11/22 (at 3400 with partial vin), yet the spreadsheet is predicting that my vin will be up this Friday. I've only been waiting since the end of Feb, so not a super long wait in the big picture. Just a little confused at if there is a possibility of the car being built this week instead of the TPW that Chevy gave.
Thanks and Hello All! Hoping to be more active here soon.
The spreadsheet is accurate because they update it daily with actual build number from the day before. They then predict the next days/weeks based off "typical" build numbers. So if they build the usual and you're predicted to be this Friday, you'll be this Friday.

Technically speaking there really is no "partial VIN". Once you receive the 4 digit number the whole number can be determined. Many online VIN decoders are available. The tricky part is the digit in the 9th position. Just chose any number (0-9) and most online apps will tell you if this number is wrong. They will even suggest to you what the correct digit should be. The rest of the digits are self explanatory. Take a look here:
Good luck! Mine was built 11/3 (Vin 5909) and the museum still doesn't have it, so I can't schedule yet. I wouldn't get too attached to an 11/27 date quite yet.

If the recent intel is accurate, people like you and I (mine built on 11/2) are on quality hold due to a shortage of parts. Many of us built during the slowdown period are now on quality hold. The longest I have seen to date is 3 weeks (built 10/25). That being said, it is also reported that the missing parts have arrived and BGA is diligently installing the missing parts on the cars on quality hold, and hope to have these shipped out soon.
So Bee Jay may be ok since his car is not being built during the slowdown. His may make it over the the museum in a shorter amount of time. Let's hope that is the case.
I was told this morning that I’m at 3300 status . My allocation went in the system on 10/18 . Black , 3LT , Z51 , mag. ride . The concierge couldn’t give me a TPW but they told me to check back next week .
