Same. I didn't mind at all while it only had 2% take rate. That it's up to 5% for 2022 makes it a little less unique, but I look at it like 95% of C8s do not look like any shade of it.

Default Love the color, BUT

To me is seem like it's crying, fighting, begging for attention, it was my first choice but the mist red is more suitable for me.

I’m sure there is a mist red thread that would welcome your encouraging comments!

red mist is a very popular color. Too old school hot rod for my taste.

Every time I look at pictures of Amplify Orange, I can never get a good sense of the actual color. Pictures can vary from dark to really light and sometimes almost pale. Are there any good pictures that give a true representation of the color? I'm sure a lot has to do with lighting (i.e. indoor, sunlight, overcast, etc). I'm really on the fence with AO. I had a 1969 ZZ28 in Hugger Orange back in the day (I know that was a LONG time ago ... lol) and absolutely loved that color. I'm hoping AO is something similar to that. Just wondering how vibrant it is. My alternate color is Torch Red. Just trying to get a good vibe for AO before I have to order my C8 which will be very soon!

I'll get a red mist car when I'm 60, when the color suits my age.

@dreamr616 I saw AO in person while visiting Houston a couple weeks ago, I would have to say these are probably the two closest representations of the color I have seen. It looked amazing from the road 100' away, but I would have to agree, in person standing close to it it felt washed out and too much of a creamsicle tinge to it. (I am an orange car person also for those about to call me a hater)

dreamr616, I have a limited production 1999 Hugger Orange Camaro SS in my garage. Sebring Orange looks more like Hugger because both have a bit of red in them. AO is a true orange color. My AO C8 vert will be here in about 2 weeks. If you would like to take a look at it I live in Chesterfield Twp MI 48047.
