AO is growing on me after seeing more and more pictures. I haven't seen it in person. I owned an SO Sebring Orange C7 and loved it, but my preference is shifting away from metallic paints.

If the AO was metallic it would look nicer. But I have the Sebring also.
It's personal preference. I like metallic colors, but after purchasing a Lava Orange (non-metallic) Porsche, I'm liking the more vibrant colors like orange in non-metallic finishes.
I can say without a doubt that almost every picture i've seen does not truly represent the color in person. Im assuming its due to the fact most of the photos, mine included are taken with our cellphones and its just not the actual color of the car itself.
Sebring Orange was the same. In certain types of light it could look like AO. Here was my SO in overcast, which looks a bit washed out like AO does sometimes.
Congrats to both of you! I'm nervously looking at allocation numbers and hoping to make the last allocation for 2022. Don't see them adding any options in the next model year that's going to be worth the increase cost.
My Amplify Orange C8 is to be built today. But I still don't have an amplify orange high Wing to have the museum install for me. American Hydrocarbon hasn't gotten the paint codes from GM yet. Does anyone here have that information?
Just picked mine up this morning. I’ve noticed that AO really changes depending on the light. It’s very bright in the direct sun. Here’s a few pics at the dealership. Wheels will go on it very soon. Pics from iPhone 12 Pro. Doesn’t do it justice at all.
