How are you guys getting to the NCM to pick up your car from Nashville Airport? Rent car one way? Uber?

Check NCMs website, they have a link with coupon code. Last time a checked, using that code, one way drive from Nashville to NCM was under 70 bucks. You turn car in at NCM. Their website has all the info and POC for questions.

I rented a car from Budget at Nashville airport and returned in Bowling Green off Scottsville road. There was not any additional charge for one way rental.

I balanced the same options of car vs Uber
Actually in Nashville right now with my delivery in the morn. Ended up renting from enterprise. Was concerned about getting a reliable Uber to go that long distance early on a Sat. I calc’d the Uber route rates and compared them against the rental - and went with the rental. Rented it at the airport, staying in Nashville for the day/night and then returning the car to the museum (in bowling green). My total cost for a day rental + pickup fee of $45 for them to get it at the museum + taxes comes to a total of $153. Gave me a lot more confidence and convenience. There is a special code for the NCM daily rate: XZ58H89

I'm curious what do you get with the NCM delivery for 995?
So far, I have these...which isn't a bad list:
Some plaque for the interior.
It's a cool place to visit I'm sure.
Don't they have the sink hole with old Vettes down there still as an attraction?
You get to see Nashville if you fly in there.
A fun drive home.

You might want to try the Bowling Green Shuttle. https://www.bgshuttle.com I used them last month and I believe it was approximately $80 total for my son and I from the Nashville Airport to Bowling Green. They run 24/7 so they will pick you up whenever. My flight actually arrived at 12:35 AM which presented no problems. They can drop you right at your hotel and if you let Shane know he will have your delivery representative pick you up at your hotel and take you to the NCM. It saves a bit of trouble in dealing with a rental car agency, particularly now when it appears that there is a shortage of cars and a lot of uncertainty to reservations and, of course, the inevitable return of the rental car once you have your Corvette.

Sounds like there are a number of options available. The one way rental car option sounds very good.

The coupon code for the one way rental was not an option for me in Aug. They were short of rental cars and the system rejected the coupon.
Paying to just leave the rental in Bowling Green and pay the regular rate added about $100 or so to the rental cost. We just drive back through Nashville and dropped the rental off where we got it since we were road tripping our way back through there anyway.
The shuttle has set hours, so if you have a late flight or it gets delayed (happened to us), it won’t be available after a certain time.
As with all travel these days, book ahead, leave yourself some time for delays and cancellations, and don’t assume things will be as easy as it was a couple years ago.

The PDI is done by a staff that does nothing but Corvettes. There is a demonstration of all the 'bells and whistles' by a stafff that does introductions to new owners every day.. THEY ARE AMOUNG THE BEST. You also get personalized guided tour of the museum by the staff, access to an area that sells only to museum delivered car owners and guests. I do not know off the road course is currently available to buyers. Pictures of the delivery, and a few other things such as a door sticker identifying your call awes museum delivered car. A plaque for you wall, ETC.

I am sure things change often. I have had two Museum deliveries - '06 and '12. Both rentals from Enterprise and both easy peasy

Has anyone used LYFT from the airport?
I arrive on 9/17 at 7:30 and will pick up my C8 at 10 AM....
What is the best way to get to NCM? Rental? Uber? Lyft? Shuttle?
Thanks in advance

Have not used Lyft for what you are intending but Lyft is more popular and widely used in Nashville vs Uber.

Picked up the rental car when we landed Fri morning. I reserved it for a single day and told them 10am (so I only had to pay for a single day rental fee, since my delivery was 10am Sat). We landed at 7:15a and went straight to Enterprise. They had a car ready at that time. Ended up having endless time on the backend as well which was nice since we left all our luggage in the rental car until we completed the delivery, lunch at the stingray cafe and swag shopping in the corvette store. Our personal NCM guide for the day (John - who I’d HIGHLY recommend) said enterprise more than likely won’t even pick up the car until Monday. We left it in a reserved Enterprise parking spot at the back of the museum and slid the keys onto a lockbox. Could not have been more convenient and easy.
Edit: oh, and there is a gas station right at the entrance the NCM - so don’t pay for any of the enterprise fueling options. We drove from the airport to the strip in Nashville for the night. Then to bowling green the next morn. Didn’t even spend $5 to fill it back up before dropping it off.
back to our guide. Can’t say enough about how special he was. John Frew, a retired law enforcement officer. I’m not a traditional corvette enthusiast. My daily driver is an F150, so this is all new turf for us. He took his time and walked us through everything in the car and in the museum. He treated us like we were a member of his family, and that’s no exaggeration. Don’t know if that’s the way all of them go, but John made it truly special. I recommend him to everyone!!!!

I tried booking a one-way reservation with both Budget & Enterprise online and both came up "NO Cars Available". Did not try the coupon; but maybe that would help? Leaning towards the Lyft rout now; flying into Nashville somewhere around October 3 or 4th.

Thanks for all the replies....
Arrive in Nashville at 7:20 Meet with NCM to finally get our car at 10:00 AM
Should have plenty of time...Drive back to FL the same day (maybe 2 if we're too tired)
Order with MM on 12/17/20 #756..
MM makes it seamless (so far) and easy to deal with..
