Default GM card moving to Goldman Sachs from Capital One

Hi All,

Sorry if repeat? The buypower GM card is moving from Capital one to Marcus by Goldman Sachs. All points transfer automatic. New cards to be issued. Good new is earn 7 points for every $1 on eligible GM purchases, think of using your card to pay as much on your car purchase as your dealer allows! Most will allow up to $2000-5000.00 only. Then bank those earned points for your next purchase.

You will earn 4 points on every $1 spent everywhere else! That is up from the 2 points per $1 on the existing Capital One card! It looks like the anniversary bonus points are gone at 5 points for every dollar up to max of $250 per year.

Points do not expire and there is no limit on points toward a New car like the current card.

see pic attached.

In September when MacMulkin sent their questionnaire to me requesting titling and payment information for my '22 order they also asked if I would be redeeming any GM points. I hadn't used my GM card in years and had forgotten all about that account. Their prompt had me check where I found over $600 in earnings which I redeemed toward the '22. That was a nice little surprise.
