New to me C8
I finally decided to join the modern world and get a C8. I've had limited driving since yesterday due to crap weather in the Houston area. Initial impressions are this is one hell of a vehicle. I'd characterize it as a rifle whereas the C7 Z06 is a shotgun. My 1972 would be a cannon I guess. The C8 is a 2020 3LT. I love the DCT. The interior is excellent. They must've moved to different glues and materials versus the C7 because the smell is totally different. I was looking at black and orange cars but settled on torch red. Its my fourth red vette at this point. I'm glad I stuck to TR although amplify orange was a close second.

Excellent choice. That is a combination that I considered. You did good. I love the black interior also. Many will disagree, but red seats look like plastic to me.
Did you order and wait for a year, or buy it now from dealer inventory?

Welcome Tex! You picked the best color. Can't ever go wrong with Torch Red. Here's mine getting a DCT filter and bottom detail.
Small world as I too have a C3 big block car (71) I've been building an in your face Resto-Rod. Yes, it will have custom flares and a tilt front end. Almost done with the fab work but here's a pic from last year. I've done a complete frame off restoration and going back together with extensive modifications and details. I hoping to have it finished up by Spring.....finger crossed! It's a BEAST!
Enjoy the ride!

Congrats on your C8 and hope you get many trouble free miles from the car.

Its a used car although barely. I just rolled over 7k miles today on the short outing I took it on. I didn't feel like waiting eternity for a new one on order.
