It’s been a while since this thread was updated…. I’m at 3000 status for a ‘24, and barring a UAW strike, need to start getting serious.
Navy Federal Credit is at 4.74% for 60 months. I just joined this morning and they said I can lock in a pre-approval for 90 days. Fed isn’t scheduled to meet again until 3rd week of Sept.
Anyone come across any better 60 month rates?

That's a great rate. Penfed is listing 6.09% as their lowest 60 month rate.

Earlier I posted NFCU is doing 4.74% for 60 months and you could knock that down if you're a 25 year member with a one-time 0.25% discount to 4.49% (I believe it might be a 0.5% one-time discount if you're a 50 year member). Well there's another 0.25% discount if you're a Fed employee or active duty. So I was pleasantly surprised when my 60 month rate came out to 4.24%.

Took a long time to get a 900 score now 650 is considered good. Times must be tough out there

850 is the highest FICO score. I actually hit it once! …then about a month later, found out about wife’s affair, went through divorce, she still got 1/2 of the equity in the house, and I had to refinance the house with less than a year to go until it was paid for, and been stuck in the 830’s ever since 😡
BUT, I came through it with the Lord’s help, and she would’ve made my life miserable if I’d try to buy a Corvette, so it still has a happy ending 😆

8.84% is pretty high and if your wallet can afford 72 months or 60 months your rate should be lower. Penfed and Navy Federal if you qualify may have better rates depending on your credit score. A couple others are Alliant Credit Union and your local credit union. Good luck with your purchase and enjoy driving your vette.

The car is out of my state. They could do 7.99 for 72 months he told me, Still think its too high and my credit score is at 757 its not to bad. I've tried with other banks and they won't approve me, the dealer is the only one that did.

Surprisingly, I got 6.7% through Chase for 72 months on the $50K I financed on my '24 Z06 at the end of December. Probably helped that I was already a Chase customer. Really only did it as I had some investments I didn't want to pull out right at that moment.

The best choice is to find your own financing, the dealer can meet, beat, or lose the business. You'll be surprised how accommodating the finance manager will be when the choice is to make less money or none at all.

Wife and I are debating paying off in cash or financing some of the cost. Thinking around 20-30% financed if we do. Couple questions... Who currently has the best rates you've seen? Navy Federal is advertising 4.59% but i thought I saw a couple months ago another (online?) company that had some around 3-4% but can't recall the name, think it began with a "U". Why will Chevy only allow $5k to be put on a credit card, I want those cash back points! lol.
If you could pay the whole thing, would you do it for a joy ride car?
