Since I am not as talented as many of the great replies showing their obvious painting ability, I chose to purchase a cover vs. messing up my cover trying to paint it myself! The install looks relatively easy, but is there a website that shows the proper way to remove and install the new cover? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

There are a few tricks.
Made this How To PDF which covers as well as the foolish Youtuber who screwed up the removal of the front hose fitting! Engine_Cover.pdf (netwelding.com)
One of many pics in my PDF of what to watch for (like when removing bolts DON'T let them drop or they will land on top of the bottom aero plate!) The long caption with this pic says be careful when removing this hose clip holder from your old cover. Easy to damage. In that foolish YouTube video referenced, three incompetent folks tried to remove when on the car. Took a few minutes if the video and they hacked the heck out of the end using a screwdriver and pliers. Then they installed backward where the clip will not open and had to remove and install again so it would! The clip tree end was so damaged it was very sloppy and likely fell out when they started driving! Only remove the clip when the old cover is off the car then very carefully twisting slowly as you use something like I did, a Trim Tool on the front side. You can also push from the backside.
Some of the YouTubers are unintentionally very funny. I watched one recently where the guys dog came in and out of view. The guy tried to ignore the dog, but the pooch was undaunted. Towards the end, the dog brought his ball and dropped it on the guy’s foot.
I plan on painting mine, but I like the look of a smooth surface instead of the textured OEM. Any suggestions on how to smooth out he OEM cover before painting. Thanks!

I ended up buying a cover at Shop Chevy Parts. I think it was approximately $370 and I also received a 5% discount for signing up. I love the look, and as many of you stated, the install was very easy. Thanks again for all of your help and recommendations!
