My car was built the 14th also. Here's what Chevy chat said earlier today:
" We are still awaiting a shipping update. GM audits all production vehicles to ensure the absolute best quality prior to shipment. If issues are identified, they are corrected prior to shipment. Delays can be extended based on potential material and labor availability."
So we wait another day.

Just FYI, little to no cars shipped today. Shipping boss was off today and crew didn’t do much.
my car was expected to “ship” to the museum today but didn’t make it. Now expected tomorrow.
my car was built on the 10th and was in QC hold for a week. It did release Friday the 17th just under the wire for the assembly plant shutdown.
Hopefully it ships over tomorrow, at which time I would expect to see the final three status emails from GM pretty close together:

- 3000 – Order Accepted – “Your Corvette is at the Starting Line.”
- 3400 – Order Broadcast/Produced – “Building your dream to order.”
- 4200A – Sent to Shipper – “Your Mid-Engine masterpiece is making great strides.”
- 4800 – Arrived at Shipper – “Pure performance is on the horizon.”
- 4200B/C – Left Shipper for Dealership – “Exhilaration is on the approach.”

Whaaaaat! I just got an email that my car was built on the 14th is on a mandatory 2 week QC hold. What really surprises me is that it was built and invoiced last week.
Invoice a car that is on QC hold.? Oh well, don't try to apply common logic to GM methods. They invoice the car, and the dealer probably has 30 days to pay. By then the car has arrived.
QC hold. Nothing is moving. The plant is shut down this week.
I would think that they would keep working on cars that are built to get them shipped.
They are not going to let them sit still another week, that's money in the bank they need to keep flowing.
(edit) No event code. Nuttin. (edit 2 not a holiday today)

QC hold. Today is Presidents day, so nothing is happening, nothing is moving. The plant is shut down this week.

Got a "good' news from Shane, my car was built on 03/09, no any info for the next step, stuck on 3800 for 11 days, and Shane told me my car has not progressed to the QC hold.
OMG...Where is my car...
Really confused...

I think there is some confusion here because he told me that releases will still occur and the QC team continues working even with the shutdown. Now, if something is found in QC.....that's a different story.
