Just got an email from Shane Webb at the NCM asking for what I wanted on my plaque and I asked for a status update on my build. His response was "3000 status....current TPW is 9/11, which is subject to change". My allocations was on July 29.

Mist Red HTC
Mag Ride
Front Lift
2LT

My second Corvette, replacing a 2019 GS coupe with my new build:

2024 Amplify Orange HTC 2LT
black roof and nacelles, black mirrors and spoiler
Z51
MagRide
Lift
Grill guards
20 spoke machined faced wheels

deposit on 2/25
2000 on Aug. 1
3000 on Aug. 4
Delivery from MacMulkin to my home via Intercity Lines, hoping for TPW in mid Sept.(mabye before a possible strike - that would be nice!)

I was also on a list a my local dealer (Bergeys in Colmar, PA) and they had originally told me 1.5-2 yrs, but they actually just called me today and said they would be getting an allocation in the next set and my name came up. Oh well, Mac Mulkin has been great , no regrets. I will still likely use Bergey's for service, used them in the past for the C7and they did a great job ;actually did the torque tube replacement on my C7 under warranty with no issues and several tire and wheel replacements using a third party warranty (Maximus, purchased at Criswell when I ordered the car). Didn't use Criswell tfor the C8 simply because the list/wait was just too long, but had a great experience with Mike Furman for m C7.

My first Corvette too! Been a Camaro fan for years, still own ‘98 Z28 (bought new in 6/98) 6 speed with ‘04 LS6 longblock swap and puts down 400.1 RWHP. Didn’t see a need for a Corvette since my Z28 was also front engine, RWD. THEN the C8 came out and mid-engine was the game changer for me. 0-60 in under 3 secs.?! My Z28 can’t touch that! Still keeping it though since it’ll still be a completely different driving experience!

2024 Corvette - Black / Black interior 1LT with not one single option hit 3000 today according to Corvette Concierge!

I was still at 3000 on Aug 8. They are still building 2023 orders now are they not? If so us 2024's are lying in wait, in yet another queue.

It's only been a few days, I think it will take a few weeks more before we see 3300...I see some people posting TPWs, but if you haven't gotten to 3300 , whatever TPW info you are getting from the dealer or anyone else is very tentative ; I would expect that most people who got allocations in the first group for 2024 would likely see production sometime in the weeks of Sept. 18th or 25th. - it makes sense since the factory doesn't switch over to 2024 production until I think the 12th. Of course , the UAW contract expires on the 15th so that's a huge potential problem for all of us if they strike.

I went to 3000 status on 8/1 on my order with MM. Still waiting for TPW.

My build is a 2024 Carbon Flash Metallic with Red GT1 seats, HTC, 2LT, NPP, edge red calipers, and low profile spoiler. Build came out to $84,700.

Excited is an understatement.

Default Have you been wondering like I have?

The first MY24 Stingray is scheduled to come off the line on Sept. 11, and it is HIGHLY likely that the UAW will go on strike at midnight on the 14th. Have you been wondering like I have, if your C8 is built on the 11th,12th,13th or14th will it be stuck on the shipping dock until the strike is over.

@carllangford and I have been wondering the same thing. This assumes we’re even close enough to the front of the line to be produced before the strike (hypothetically) begins.

Best case: we are produced before the strike and delivered on a normal timeline, regardless of the strike.
2nd best: we are not produced at all before the strike begins, and not just after the strike ends, so we are not impacted by downtime or startup errors.
2nd worst: our cars are complete before work stops, but sit without being maintained for the duration of a (potentially long) strike.
Worst: we are on the line when work stops, or one of the first cars off the line once work resumes, so there’s likely some additional chance for errors or corrosion or issues with whatever comes off the line.

I’d take 2nd best if I could be guaranteed to avoid the latter 2 scenarios.
