I wonder how many people that diss the caffeine cars have actually seen one in person. I talked to a guy on the Corvette Rally in July and his caffeine really popped in the sunlight. IMO it's a very unique and beautiful color.
I have entered mine in 8 PC car shows this year and have received 6 trophies. All voting was by corvette owners that were also showing their cars. Two of the shows that I did not receive a trophy were overcast days not bight sunlight.
I believe in the two years of production there were just under 850 produced in caffeine.
I can't even finish reading all the posts before having to write that I went through a fair amount of stuff and paid over original MSRP to get my '22 Caffeine C8 a month or so ago. To say they won't have re-sale value, I have to disagree. I could've bought blue, white, gray etc without having to go out of state. I get nothing but compliments on the color from people at the car events I've gone to along with other random comments. I think the car looks great in any color, but I really think this color is a color I'll be happy with 5-10 years from now.

If you like it, get it. Heck with everyone. I am a dealer. In my opinion, it is a real "niche" color and buyers exist for it. Small niche, but it does exist.
In reality, I would not take it on trade just from a business decision. It will take awhile to sell it. Nothing wrong though, if you like the color.
Ive owned a number of sports cars in yellow, gray, and red and get more compliments on this color. Plus the car is for me and not to impress anyone else, so if YOU like it, buy it and F*&k everyone else's opinion!!
At the end of the day its a brown car. Ask yourself... do you want to own a brown car? If yes, the added bonus is the rarity. I've been a c8 fan since day 1 and I've seen exactly ONE of these vettes in the wild. All that said, its not enough incentive for me. I can't ever see myself driving a brown car.
Was at a dealer before I bought my ELB C8. They had about 15 C8s all different colors. Caffeine stood out as the least attractive of them all. There is a reason it's a "rare color"
Personally I never buy brown or green cars. I did buy a green 280 Z but I had it painted dark silver/grey. I just couldn’t stand it lol. I never did buy a brown car. That said the caffeine with natural dipped looks pretty damn good. For someone other than me, that is….
Call me crazy but I saw a Caffeine HTC at a dealership and really liked that color - reminded me of the 2006 Pebble Beach Edition Lexus SC430 which they called Tiger Eye available for that one year only - I think there was a similar color available for the Porsche Cayman
I'm also one of those who thinks it is not an attractive color at all based on pictures. However, I saw one for the first time two days ago in bright sunlight and it almost had a reddish tint in person and different than what pictures show. Still not the color for me, but it does look better in person.

I can tell you since I have been selling Corvettes for over 35 years that all the people on these forums that will tell you it won't sell or you will take a hit are clueless. Because they wouldn't buy it doesn't mean someone else will? I have sold C5, C6, C7 & C8 cars in Yellow with Red Interior, Blue with Red Interior, and always got top dollar for them and they sold faster then you would think. The people who bought them said I like it because it is different. On a C5 see what you will pay for a Fairway Green car? On a C7 Lime Rock Green or Black Rose will bring more money than other colors? My first ZO6 order was a 2023 ZO6 Convertible in Caffeine with Natural interior. I told the person who ordered it I will bet that no more than 20 Caffeine ZO6 cars will be built. At the time of delivery his car was only the third convertible built in Caffeine. I said when you are ready to trade it back to me in 3 years this color will be worth big dollars because of how rare it is.
Since the C8 came out in 2020 I have sold several Blue/Red cars and a few Yellow/Red cars and I even sold one of the 4 Yellow/Blue cars built in 2021. My next two 2024 ZO6's are Rip Tide Blue/Red interior and my fifth ERay is Riptide Blue/ with Red Dipped interior.
