Default Encouraging words

A guy on FB just confessed to his Corvette addiction that we all share. Failing to craft a more intelligent response, I left him only with words of encouragement:

“What you’ve developed is not a psychological abnormality, nor is it uncommon. It’s a physiological condition known as Corvetteoleosis. Unfortunately, there is no safe cure as the side effects of abstinence are worse and include depression, regret, anger, anxiety, and sterilization.

In most cases, symptoms will subside, but by stage four, it may result in bouts of severe financial indiscretion as victims progress to more expensive models.

You might be able to mitigate the long term effects with smaller doses of options. Be sure to consult your doctor and financial advisor and follow USDA recommended daily allowances of Carbon Fiber and performance enhancing substances.

And always, I mean always practice safe driving and use PPF to prevent further unwanted and socially awkward conditions.

Be strong. We’re here for you.”

That’s all. Carry on.

No. That has sexual connotations and I’m not going there.

It's just a suffix that denotes love, affection, fixation upon, craving for, etc.

Would you be less uneasy if we called it "Mustangophobia"?

C8-nogophobia - a fear of not having a C8 Corvette nearby in the driveway or garage.
Completely debilitating, in some severe cases.
