Default Found a great car at a great price but there is one problem

Found a c8 with very low miles at a great price. All the options I want. The only problem is the seats are black and tan. the color is like something my mom would order in her Buick. anyone ever buy the interior pieces to change the color of their interior. I just want black.
I can't decide if the interior color is a deal killer or not.

why, why, ? just get black

If you are asking a bunch of people you do not know then there is your answer.

Deal Breaker. I bought a Camaro with a tan interior many years ago to see if I could live with it. Sold it in three months. Any tan is too much for me, some people love it. A combo sounds bad.

This is one thing I agree with in regards to what you’re willing to accept when you didn’t build the car. An annoying interior can really get to you. My previous car had a very “in your face” red interior. My C8 build was sky cool gray and black interior. I opted to buy a C8 at a dealership and the plain black interior fits me.

How much is the seat color going to bother you? Can you live with it or not?

Sure you can swap out interior components for a color you would rather have - but I would think the cost would be considerable unless you could find someone that would rather have the interior in your car than what they have now and you can do the work yourself.

Getting the car with the interior you want to begin with would be a better way to go.

Your money, your decision, and you will have to live with the car.

I’ve been on the same journey you are on and have found multiple cars that were 95 percent there….don’t compromise, pass on this one

there will be more and deals are to be had everywhere…trust me you will be unhappy if you compromise

I think the two-tone natural interior goes well with certain exteriors. What is the exterior? Pics?

I literally hate the C8 two tone seats in any color combo. I couldn't live with it. Find something that won't bother you every time you open the door.

You’ll be thinking of moms Buick every time you drive it, next.

As everyone else says,.. Keep looking.

I was searching for a Miata. I found one perfect EXCEPT color. I went to look at it anyway. .. Fabulous car, wrong color.. PASS

You live in the interior. Don't accept anything you can't live with. The right car IS out there. Be patient.

There are too many C8's out there for sale to settle for something that you really don't like. You'll never recoup the cost of changing out the trim.

Too bad it is missing the two-tone GT2s seats. It would have balanced the Jet Black and Natural colors a lot better.

By the time you swap out everything tan for black you will spend far more than if you had just done a custom build order built to your exact taste.

Upholstery work is fairly cheap in the overall area of modifications.

If it's a z51, mag ride, front lift and a few other goodies at that price it's a steal....it would be a tough decision...is it a 2021 or 2022?
