It’s time to have my C8 7,500 mile DCT filter change. I have made appointments with the local dealer twice - both times they did not have the filter saying that they had ordered it but it was unavailable.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue or is just an inept dealer who is not prepared to service C8’s?

Buy it yourself and it’s half the dealers price. I don’t trust either of my local GM/ Chevy service places to do any work on mine.

I just had mine changed at my local dealer no issues.

There is no way to really know if the dealer actually changed it or not!

Probably ultimately a true statement, but I provide my servicing dealer with a zip-lock bag and a container so he can give me the old filter back. He could have provided me with someone else's filter but I currently have trust that the ones they have given back to me are from my C8.
