I bought my Z06 december 2 2023. I never turned on the g m safe driver but it started recording my driver habits on that date. I don't know what constitutes hard accelebration because I was driving pretty easy during the breakin period. When I found out about the safe driver issue, I turned it off. There have been no driver habit reports since then. So maybe opting out of safe driver actually does eliminate the reports to gm?
Anyone can request rheir driving record and insurance loss records from Verisk @ fcra.verisk.com/#/ - free once a year - recommend do both and dispute anything inaccurate
I received my Verisk report yesterday. I says I was previously enrolled in GM's driving behavior program but am no longer enrolled which is true, I unenrolled when I found out I was enrolled. It just shows a table with zero records.

Thank you!
A few days ago, I drove over 130 MPH on a track for my YouTube channel, so it'll be very interesting to see what's in this report!
I got my report from LexisNexis. It didn't show any driving reports whatsoever but I opted out right from the beginning. My other car, an older Acura, doesn't have any communication capability so it can't report anything. It did show USAA pinged LexisNexis numerous times for information.

To do so you have to provide all your personal info including drivers license and ssn, great way for them to harvest your info and fill in any missing info (for them to continue to exploit).

Privacy is very important to me, but I'm betting they already know all that information. They're just making sure it's you.

Rapid acceleration is defined as accelerating to 8 or 8.5 mph in one second. Same with braking, only decelerating over that time.
That's not true. I went to that web page and it asked me to enroll and I found out later that the dealer had enrolled me when I bought the car in spite of what the web page said. For me the only real way good way is to call On-Star and talk to a rep to check and get off the enrollment list.

I'm just reporting what other people have said. I'm not currently enrolled and it gives me the option to enroll. Other people have stated they used the link to unenroll.
And how do you know they aren't lying to you when they verbally told you that they unenrolled you? Before I had the link I had to call them to unenroll (the Chevrolet app stopped supporting my phone). They told me they unrolled me but refused to send me any kind of written verification. I'm always suspicious when someone tells me something verbally but refuses to put it in writing. I used the link to backup what they said. And now I have something from both LexisNexis and Verisk that they are no longer collecting my driving history.
