‘24 MY C8 went from $500 to $2,000 deductible on collision. Six months premium went from $483 to $411.
I didn’t base my change on ratio of coverage to premium saved, based it on I can afford the $1,500 additional should I ever have an accident that is MY fault. I have an excellent driving record which helped me validate my decision.
