Maybe GM is going to try to handle this problem internally and not go up on NHTSA ?
We can learn more if we get a few more affected VIN numbers!

I believe that ordering of '23 C8s began May of '22 and production of '23s began later that Sept of '22...

Yes, that makes sense since that's when the newly designed transmission oil pans were implemented....I have the older design on my '23 C8 built in Dec of '22 so I don't expect to see any notices...

2023 Z06 production started 9-22-22, however Stingray production started on 5-20-22. The early 2023 production start date (allowing 16 production months) was the reason BG was able to build 53785 C8s for the 2023 model year.

My 2023 was built in early Aug 2022.

My 2023 Z-51 Coupe rolled off the line on Aug. 29th 2023 for NCM delivery on Sept. 20th, I would call this a "late year 2023" and I have not been notified of anything .
I have over 5,000 miles on it and so far it has been awesome.

That's interesting. I (apparently wrongly) assumed that it may have to do with the modified oil pan in the transmission (and possibly other unrelated changes that could have been brought in at the same time), but those only started being used way later in the '23 build cycle.
So I am potentially not out of the wood (my car was built in April 23)

But my car is doing great and I enjoy the heck out of it, and that won't change, recall or not
