Default Carbon fiber door trim

Got a great deal on carbon fiber inlays from a vendor posted on the forum. Carbon fiber to cover the sliver trim on the door, dash and center console. All in $550. Which I thought was very reasonable and the pieces match the carbon fiber on my GT2 seats.

Started with the doors…

Dash and center console tomorrow…

I have a 1LT so only did the area with the window switches but man did it make a visual difference and help cut down the glare. Those look a bit higher quality than the ones I got, looks good!

I also did the silver under the air vents, really ties it all together

The silver under the vents gets covered today 😎…. Along with the transmission selector and drive mode control on the console. I agree it cuts back on glare also like how it matches the seats and blends with the dark interior. Not sure I would have done it if I had natural interior but regardless. Very happy with the quality of carbon fiber and the how they fit.

I loathed the silver speaker and horizontal "bar" detail. I had Carbon Fiber from the factory on my '22. Ordered my '24 Z06 w/ the Carbon Fiber Interior (Level 1) plus Stealth package (black stainless throughout interior). Not a huge fan of the Carbon fiber speaker grill, but to each his own.

I think I’m going to skip that one as I’m only covering silver trim and the trim around that switch is black. But thanks for letting me know….

Looks awesome. Which vendor? Does covering the speaker affect the sound?

Quick FYI…. When scanning the pictures above in the thread they look pretty lousy to me. I didn’t think they were that bad when I posted them.

But… if you click on the picture to just focus on the image it’s much sharper and the carbon weave is a lot clearer.

The vendor is literally everywhere…. I was surprised when I bothered to look as I tried to comparison shop…. This is an offshore vendor so getting the name from other forum members made a big difference in not being worried about poor quality or parts that don’t show up but also eBay and others are supposed to protect you from nonsense.

They are on eBay, amazon, Aliexpress, but the best way is directly to

www.jogoncarbon.com

Everything arrived in than 7-10 days and I covered every piece of silver trim in the interior with carbon fiber except the small strip around the horn button on the wheel and the aluminum paddles (but there are carbon pieces available to do that). I thought that was a great transformation for $550 bucks…

I didn’t notice anything with the radio speaker but I haven’t driven it much since I finished and it’s finally warm here so I’m driving with the windows down so no idea if the speaker is muffled. I think it will be fine.

I’d like to get rid of just the silver speaker grills but not with CF. I have been looking for aftermarket Stealth covers unfortunately no one has them.

I'm not a fan of carbon-fiber, however anything looks better then the bright aluminum trim that matches nothing in the Corvette interior. The OEM stealth interior seems perfect, but your solution looks good.

If you like little projects you could buy the carbon pieces and paint them. I imagine it would be a challenge to get a finish you’re satisfied with but places that sell stuff to refinish guitars might have something you like. Again only if you enjoy that sort of thing.

I have a 1LT and I did everything but the speaker grille as no vendors had one without the slot in it..I have stopped buying CF parts, so maybe they have it now.

Surprised no one makes a little plug for the slot.

I also got these Carbon Fiber kick plates for the doors, which come in VERY handy.

I bet, my door panel has several boot marks this would have helped with.
