Default Where are these Corvette Hillbillies?

I was doing some research on the 911 and stumbled on this.
I do know some here have the blue exterior with the red leather interior LMAO.

That's funny...

I hate to admit but there appears to be some truth to that statement with respect to the Corvette community!

I suppose but 911 owners (especially air cooled) can also be so far up their own butt… 🙃. And as Jeremy Clarkson will tell you Porsche only has one model with nine million variations… and this is speaking as a former 911 owner…. Who will probably end up with another one someday…

The term I used to hear for the Porsche guys years ago were Bifs. I have a couple Porsche buddies and they are cool. One of them moved to Corvette even!

I see a post of someone claiming that they have a "rare" late model Corvette all the time on this forum

Nitnoid details to create a sense of "rarity" wouldn't be an issue if people would stop ordeirng the same damn colors.

Lots of 1 of 1 posts for most enthusiast cars I'm afraid. I'm active on one of the main BMW forum and its there as well, especially in the M forums.

To me, it is a ridiculous comment to say yours is 1 of X, but it's the InterWebs so... Honestly, if its 1 of 1, it's that way for a reason -> it's so ugly nobody else wanted your combo. Just because you can doesn't mean you should....

I guess they are talking about me but I didn't do the Blue with Red interior to make it "rare" I did it because I like the way it looks. Not many "rare" C8's out there if any. They build way too many for that.

I really don’t think that blue goes with red. To me that would be gross. But to each his own.

Sory didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. I said this before in the forum. There’s a saying. To be a sports car it must have 3 things. Red in Color, a convertible, and standard transmission. I have 2 out of 3 not too bad.
. I’m bias whan it come to colors. I’m sure sure you’ll enjoy your car and the color you’ve chosen. And you’ll be the only one. Jus Kidding. lol It’s Just not for me.

A little truth in the statement, perhaps...peppered with a predictable layer of Porsche condescension from a guy probably driving a used Boxster.

My best friend is very active in the BMW crowd and they just had an event two weeks ago. All his pictures were this is 1 of 3, oh, that's one of 10, etc... To me there's not much difference. But then, I'm the same with my cars and bikes too.

When I was brainstorming what to put on my custom plate, I thought up this one then passed on it:
