Based upon your recommendations, I've finally added the Soler DLX Controller. All I can say is that it's the best accessory I've installed to date. It really helps get rid of the throttle lag and wakes up the car. I've found that the Sport 4 setting works best for me. The "Lock" feature that disables the gas pedal is also a great option for added security. I chose not to install the LED unit and opted for BT control instead. It's made the driving experience with my C8 that much more enjoyable and spirited. I highly recommend it as your first aftermarket accessory to install.
PS: One crucial step was omitted in the install instructions and videos. When you first try to disconnect the throttle cable from the gas pedal, the instructions state to slide up the red locking clip only. They failed to mention that you also need to press in a small locking black plastic tab directly underneath the red locking clip once it's slid in the unlock position. I had to call Soler's Tech Support to find this out. They confirmed they forgot to mention that minor part in their instructions. It turned out to be a 30 minute install, rather than 10 minutes, in trying to figure out how to disconnect the plug.

I agree about the difference the Soler Throttle controller makes to the car - I have one on my car and the response is markedly different, for the better.
And thanks for the addition of the install procedure directions. Hope you have sent that feedback to Soler Engineering for incorporation into their instructions.

The tech support person I spoke to was the one that actually told me about that extra step. He said that they've received a lot of calls regarding the difficulty of disconnecting the plug. They're planning to update the instruction booklet to include it.
I had this installed by them at Corvettes at Carlisle this year on my '24. It took them about 5 minutes and they explained how it all works and got my app downloaded.
I have set at Sport 5 and what a difference. Such a quick response now. Very pleased.
It was a pita trying to get the clip disconnected without the actual proper way to do it.....luckily it did come apart without issue. It is a positive upgrade , and easily removed, if need be, modification.
I tend to drive with a light foot out of habit and my other cars style of response..... this makes driving more enjoyable. I think sport 8 is where I keep it. Very nice deal.
If I remember correctly, (I read the instructions, a while ago and don't yet own unit) there was something about waiting 10 minutes or something?
Are the instructions completely clear? Has anyone had to deal with the error code situation?
I'm considering one but am not much of a mechanic and am nervous about such things.
Leave the door open with engine off and key away from the car before you install the device.
Something with the car has to reset before you start the install.
It's a super simple procedure to do the installation.
No need to be intimidated.
There are a couple good YouTube videos out there to watch. I think it was Joe's Garage and Brink of Speed that did them.

The conversation is about the throttle controller - which attached to the gas pedal - not the throttle body.
Thanks for the clarification! Would you guys recommend doing just the throttle controller or both the throttle body and controller? If both, which would you guys do first?

I would do the throttle controller first, it's a great mod. You might find that you don't really need the throttle body. It's a more involved install. The controller is a no-brainer, I run mine on Sport 6.
I am also a big fan and agree 100% with the OP.
P.S. Waiting for the "haterz" to chime in that this is worthless and that stomping really hard on the gas pedal will do exactly the same thing
I was thinking about this but the manual has a warning that it is not for street use only track!!😳
That is typically printed in all racing / performance modifications to prevent you from thinking you can just file a lawsuit if something happens. Modification to the acceleration of the car / truck can result in injury or death. So, you use at your own risk. Take the comments from others and decide if this is something that meets your needs.
