Love mine as well—Sport 5 for me.
heads up though, never change the setting while driving.
i made that mistake and I lost ALL throttle at the pedal.
scared the crap out of me. I had to come to a complete stop, place in park, then changed to another setting and it’s been fine ever since.

I'm considering one but am not much of a mechanic and am nervous about such things.

You'll be fine. You're not working on anything mechanical. The install should take about 10 minutes and is straightforward, depending on how agile you are. Be sure to slide the driver's seat all the way back and the steering wheel all the way in and up first for better access to the gas pedal. I left my driver's side door open for about 20 minutes prior and waited for the car's computers shut down. You can tell this when the interior lighting turns off. The hardest part is in maneuvering yourself to reach the gas pedal in order to disconnect the connectors. Follow the instructions I posted above and ensure to push in the black plastic tab underneath after the red tab is unlocked. Everything else is the same as the printed instructions and videos.

I removed the pedal, not too difficult, youtube is your friend! This is the one mod every C8 should have!

I'm really thinking about getting this. For those that installed it, what did you do with the USB-C cable? I don't see the need for the module when the App seems like a much better way to switch between modes (other that the initial power-up to get the App going). Is there a way to just run that cable behind the carpet so it isn't visible?

I just tucked the blue tooth module behind the gas pedal, there's a little cavity there. It's really the only place it can go. Then, I tucked the cable up and under the top of the carpet. It will all be pretty invisible from the cabin.

That's interesting. I've seen Youtube videos where they changed modes while driving and it seemed fine.

I opted to tuck it in the "cavity" for the steering wheel column: quick & easy to get out if needed. And yes, I tested moving the steering wheel in all directions to make sure the module is out of the way.

I tucked the control module behind the gas pedal carpeting, leaving only the Soler connector to the gas pedal exposed. I then tucked the USB-C cable between the carpet and the driver's side console for easy access, if needed. I keep the LED module inside the console in case I need to connect it.

Any clarity here? It would seem like something is wrong with the install and/or the actual product if the pedal goes out simply by switching driving modes while rolling…

I've never had that issue, and I've switched modes multiple times, while driving.

Don’t need led display. Have app on cell phone full Bluetooth . If want to mount led display can put on dash or route into your console. Comes with self stick tape on back

Default Single best mod for $200

I was at Corvettes at Carlisle at the Soler booth and it was crazy the number of people who had this product raving about it . Best quote I heard was “single best mod you can do for $200”! I agree with that having it in my C7 and C8 on Sport 5 setting .
people using code: ZERO60 at checkout get $11.45 savings. Seems to still be working . 👍
