I recently purchased a 2026 SR.
Is it supposed to come with a toy model, plastic, with the VIN number underneath?
My dealer say's he never heard of such a thing.
This is important to me considering all the bad stuff we read about the C8. It'd be nice to have an extra engine and transmission-just in case...
The model for '22 and my '25 came directly to me about 4-5 months after purchase.
For '26 I'm hearing that owners now get an email asking if you want the model and also if you want register for the Corvette Owners school at the Ron Fellows driving school.
I picked my 2026 up on 10/3. I JUST checked my spam folder and found an email about my corvette gift (2/11) - it was for the speed model. Just completed checkout. Would never have known I received an email if I had not seen this thread.

Hmm it's a 1st class modern heavy resin model you can see thru with engine and drivetrain visible somewhat like a glass paper weight! Took 6+ months come for my 2020 C8 and was Red like the car. Only 2 months for my E-Ray. Appears to be based on your car color (although in my E-Ray case that is in the base and car clear with floating drivetrain.) Comes from the producer as I understand.
Some don't understand the more modern art type approach. I think it's great as this Pic I have on wall! Heck today even cell phones take great Pics! Takes more creativity and skill to make this Pic as the Vette model! Not a toy!

Don't know if this will help, but........Here's a pic of the original email I received from GM on 2/11 ...... there is a unique code provided (just below where I cut off the picture) as it's tied to me...... then below the unique code they provided is a button to push that says "Redeem"
My guess is they send these out as 2026 cars get delivered and noted in small batches...... just like they did previously to send out the speed model for 2025 and earlier C8's.... but now, you have to act on it and do something to redeem it.
For those that may not have noticed they are magnetic and can be mounted to a wall. The model not slide off the back plate. Mine is a 2025 but I doubt if it is different.

Boy if it did slide off when someone touched it, could break a toe! Just weighed. It's almost 2 lbs!
