Default Back end design...

As a previous owner of C5 vert, Navy Blue Metallic (very dark blue)
& Current owner of 2014 C7 vert, Night Race Blue, also very dark blue, I'm looking for maybe a another color for upcoming C8.

Love everything about current C7, except the large black color of the lower part of the rear end. Luckily, it blends very well with my current very dark blue. But on other brighter colors, the large black lower area just doesn't mesh very well, just looks like unfinished plastic underhang. Pls no flames, just a personal preference.

Quick google search for maybe upcoming C8 designs to see if hopefully GM/Chevy designers may integrate the colors for the back end design. But it looks like not much will change:

I prefer less, like this:

Thoughts?

I like the black accents on the c7. You can always have stuff painted or wrapped to suit your taste.

I think you are a few years too early until we know exactly what the C8 will look like. Most of these magazines/sites are guessing what the C8 will look like.

Probably get more cross talk if posted on the C8 forum.

Don't put any stock in the various C8 renderings you have seen. None of them are based on anything real. They are just some graphic designers idea of what it might be. Most are clearly nothing more than a C7 slightly redesigned with a shorter front end and longer cabin to rear end distances in keeping with a mid-engine layout.

Surely (aka they must) make a major change to the rear. And I agree with your preference.

Had C5 vert Navy Blue Metallic & current C7 vert Night Race Blue.
Maybe change it up next time for brighter Red C8 vert...
