Very possible, but if the driver front tire was on the lower gravel and the passenger front tire was on the higher pavement that would only compress the passenger front suspension more. Only way this could be an illusion is if the driver front tire is on the pavement and, because of the angle the passenger front tire would be extended further to meet the tire to the pavement. Still very possible though.
I hear you.
I think we can both agree that it is most likely due to suspension movement.
From the additional pics of the car on pavement, it appears that the stance is correct.
We will have a bolted in hardtop, targa top, and a folding hardtop IMHO. There are enough spy photos of all three floating around. I've entered this observation on my list thread.
Man, I sure hope you're right about the bolted in hardtop.
Question: If they do hot weather testing the Death Valley area, as often happens, do you think they'll have to remove more of the black cladding to expose the actual air intakes etc? Gotta make sure those work as intended under extreme conditions, right? If so, that might give us a clearer idea of the body design even with the swirly B&W camo wrap still in place.

Absolutely true, but unfortunately I would imagine GM will do all of that testing at their private Desert Proving Grounds in Yuma, AZ.
Roof partition lines are definitely in different positions between mules but even though the partition line on #5 is further back, it doesn't make sense that a targa top rear partition line wouldn't be even with the rear of the window glass.
The plot thickens....
The targa top still has to fit somewhere - yes?
So there is a limit to it's size. Not a mystery. The space will be similar to that for the convertible, and still leaving space for the golf club trunk
I agree. And as Skank pointed out, it still has the horizontal separation line indicating retractable top. It looks like two different retractable configurations.
Looks fairly similar to the folding hard top on the F458/488 to me. I hope it is because I'd love a hardtop convertible.

Yes, it would look awkward if the B pillar was visible and the cut line didn't line up with it. But once the vinyl camo is removed the B pillar will likely be hidden by a tinted glass continuation of the door glass as on the C7. Then the "shorter" lift-off panel won't look so wrong - plus it will be small and light, easy to stow.

I was thinking that the targa top could be stored in a vertical position behind the seats, still within the cabin. Most, if not all, mid engine supercars have a storage area directly behind the seats.
And while there could be a targa body style, the roof doesn’t have to be one piece. The 918 Spyder, for example, uses two overlapping panels as a removable roof.
Which one is which. But this one has the big basking whale mouth, not the proboscis on the other recent car.
thanks, this is how i improve my language skills. i am a fast learner though. please (if it is not too much to ask) keep correcting my mistakes. already learned some stuff just by reading the forum..
what i still don't get there are some words - buttresses? what exactly do you mean by those? i figured that out that it has to do something with the back of the car, but still
