Very good looking indeed! The aggressive stance of the wheels is a bit exaggerated compared to the testing mules that are being seen, but the bodywork appears nice. Front bumper cover design not in sync with design of leaked bumper cover, but still good overall. One thing that I'm seeing hardly no one address, is the test mules appear to have an amber lamp mounted high upon the fender at the top of the headlamp cluster group. Seems almost everyone leaves this amber lamp out in their headlight clusters?

Some poster here has said a number of times the hood/headlight setup is going to be controversial.

I agree the render looks good, but I think I can shed some light on why the stance of the wheels looks a bit exaggerated and why the front fascia isn't in sync with what we believe to be the real front fascia. It appears they started with a pic of an NSX and heavily modified it to create this render.

  • Render bender WTF? If I could draw and if I produced a so called rendering it would be as valid as anybody else’s but it would still be BS. Those that produce these renderings should be applauded for their efforts and where appropriate appreciated for their support of Corvette, however..........it’s all so totally subjective as to be meaningless. NOW, those photos of the camo C8 on the track seem to shed more light on the eventual design. More of that, less of the renderings for me. Just my two cents worth.

hopefully the street version looks more natural than the C8R images we have seen. The rear fender in particular looks awkward.

If you have seen the car, which renderings are closest?

You're not talking about the C8.R then? The street version? ...trolling?

You've got to love when someone with 2 posts and a new acct comes in and says something simple and factual, yet fails to elaborate, clarify why or how, etc. How about clear it all up for us then...what's the facts? You don't have pictures, but you have a memory and can clearly describe it enough to validate your claim. It looks nothing like this...so be it, describe specifically why. Tell us something we don't know, and immediately, you get validated.

I would agree, the render definitely came from the NSX before being modified.

If you want to see what the C8 looks like, check out the pics of the C8.R. Nothing else is close.

This Render makes the C8 look way to thick and bloated.

That render is done by Instagrammer Carlifestyle. He does tons of Photoshop renders and was obviously based off the NSX above.

Okay, since nobody has said it I will, if there is no front gill, it won't be a Corvette. It may be called a Zora or whatever but I don't think Corvette will drop the gills. MHO

I can see where y'all get that this has NSX/Mclaren-look. ME's will look similar based on areodynamics and wind-tunnel testing. The above rendering looks fantastic and probably as close as we can get until... ? There are many styling/aero differences.
