Actual cooling in the seats and a quieter cabin from road noise during longer drives. Keeping the Exhaust sound when the baffles are open is good to keep though! Oh and fixing the headliners so they don’t droop. Glue that doesn’t discolor the warning labels on the sun visors. Infotainment software that looks more sporty than cartoonish. Love the contrast stitching in the seats, dash and etc... though. While maybe not for the strictly performance bunch, blind spot cameras that work with the turn signal or manual select.

Quieter cabin, better leather (see the premium Porsche stuff), better carpet and upgraded HUD. The interior on a 3lz is close to perfect if they just had nicer materials.

Quieter cabin— floor/ door insulation, pillars that don’t vibrate randomly; 3lz quality was a good start ...but even better leather/ stitching, LESS carpet surface area.. less cheap plastic on key buttons and stalks (eg, turnstalk)... yes more like Porsche or Merc AMG. Buttons simplified and concentrated on the wheel or the central console, not randomly dispersed. More classic touchscreen that won’t become outdated quickly yet functional.

I have been posting for probably over a year,, asking for the ME to have a “five level” interior option. Those who want it, could spring for it; those who do not, would get whatever interior level they would want

I realized it just wasn’t worth it lol. I would just get scrutinized all over again, so, change the topic. Let’s hear what the people actually want....

Ie seen people wear racing gloves driving there alcantara laden Aventadors while cruising on the road..... it wears in too quickly..

Some sort of selective active noise cancellation would be nice.

Yes. All the "High quality" leather in domestic US cars still sucks. Alcantara sucks too.

Alcantara makes since for parts you do not touch. Roof liner, pillars, etc.

As for the motor placement, you can do other things like active noise cancellation to help defeat the noise. Not asking for silence, but extra road noise protection. Porsche does sound deadening windows as an option. That would be a plus.

Yes interior quality and options.

Porsche you can get the base stuff or you can wrap every last piece in leather of varying qualities. You will never see the option levels the same. GM is built around mass production. Porsche is built around customer production but in higher volumes. I just do not think they see the financial value in doing it at Chevy.

Them wrapping the dash in the C7 even on the base model was a huge improvement. Having door panels and sills would also be nice as an option.

I wonder how much wrapping Porsche does internally in their factory. Chevy does no custom work internally, it comes from the supplier ready to go on the car for the most part. I suspect Porsche must do some of it internally.

I had my C7 sound deadened with the Crazy Cowboy kit and it was quieter than my Audi's.

If you want to know why the high end sports cars and supercars have alcantara. Alcantara is less than 1/2 the weight of leather. When manufacturers are trying to get every ounce of weight out of cars like Huracan Performante, 488 Pista, etc...they use alcantara. It is also very grippy, holds you in the seat during high g corners. Personally I find alcantara very easy to take care of, you just have to keep it clean by using a quality alcantara cleaner once a month. A bonus, in hot weather it makes not having cooling seats a non issue.

do you not have durability issues with the material?
