C8 or Mid Engine?

C8 or Mid Engine?
So... this could just be a terminology thing but, maybe not. I have put a $5k deposit down on a mid-engine Corvette (#2 allocation) and when I did the dealer (major/multiple dealership in NC) would not refer to the car verbally or in writing as a C8. They would only call it a mid-engine Corvette. Probably doesn’t mean anything but I thought it was odd.

I am working with Hendricks so they should know what they are talking about since we know Rick usually gets the first one. I wasn’t saying there will be a front engine I just thought it odd they didn’t say C8. I assumed that was an official term and thought I would share.
