Since I haven't had a hit of some C8 news in quite some time, I'm suffering from C8 withdrawal. Here is a little throwback of all the times we were tortured. Also camouflage has really evolved it seems.

Thanks Keagan. I remember those well. This one will be a more revolutionary departure from the previous generation than the others were. That's probably why this is more eagerly anticipated than those.

I'm hoping they do something similar to the build up of the release with the C7. Little teaser videos here and there.
Yeah I’m feeling your pain. I think we all need some fresh C8 news soon. The current threads are starting to get long in the tooth. Some new pics would definitely be welcomed.
Thanks Keagan-Z06. Always nice to take another trip backwards down memory lane. It shows we survived three slow-teaser-reveals, so I am guessing most will not expire between now and the ME’s reveal, and not go to another option (ZR1 or other brand).
I remember seeing the z06 engine lids(as I call them) many months before They released any info. Wouldve been early 13 iirc. We were like what are all these lt4 boxes????? I remembered the 96 lt4 but knew that wasn't it. Then we opened the boxes and saw corvette supercharged and started getting giddy lol.
Because I wanted to keep my job and not get sued obviously, I couldn't really say anything.

Just funning....Mid Engine or pristine perfect 1963 Split Window Coupe??
Split window. As rare as the real ones are, and as good as those cars are, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’ll take it in green, of course.
edit: after some research, it appears that there was no green option in ‘63. That’s a shame because I saw a green split-window at Mecum Kissimmee a couple of years ago. There’s more split window Vettes going through auctions than there were split window Vettes made...

I was 16 when the C5 came out so all I remember was the pics in the newspaper from the reveal, but none of the lead-up. I have read "All Corvettes are Red". I remember the C6 release vividly. The first full car shot was the Precision Red (dark blood red) photo from the commercial shoot. The commercial they ended up banning for encouraging kids to joyride their parents cars
