See what happens when you check your mirrors! Nice catch.

Any idea where this was?

Now that the Deep Freeze is upon certain parts of the US, you gotta figure GM must be out and about in force doing some serious Winter testing. So like you mentioned, keep your head on a swivel and check your mirrors. You never know what might be Lurking Behind You.....
Apparently, this was shot in the Detroit area....

My mom told me she saw one on Jefferson in the St. Clair Shores area on Monday afternoon. This might be the same car.

Based on the amount of snow on the ground I'd have to guess northeast. Maybe PA or one of the surrounding states. It's a state that doesn't require a front plate though.

Also, fantastic camera work... IDK what is so hard about holding a phone steady...

Glad to see a new video/sighting.

It's always obvious when videos are captured by "happen chance" versus the ones captured by "professionals".

I agree too that it's puzzling why the casual, "happen chance" captures like this one are so short. Especially in this day and age of everyday people relishing the opportunity to get the potential "viral video".

Oh well... just glad to see something new! Thanks for sharing!!

By the looks of the pattern on the windshield, it has a single wiper blade.

Looks to me like the radiator does not appear to fill the entire opening. The outer 1/3 looks to exit to the wheel well where we’ve seen that screen. Where then would the radiator effluent air travel?

Nah, if GM wants to do cold weather testing they will take it to a cold weather testing facility. Detroit isn't anywhere near reliable enough weatherwise for winter testing, and there is far too much to be done to try and do it on the couple days you get that is actually cold enough.

Unfortunately, they really frown on us taking pictures of camo cars in winter test facilities, so I doubt you'll see any unless officially released.

Didn't they do initial c8 winter testing in Northern Canada a few years ago alongside the ZR1's?

Thanks CRABBYJ. Ah yes, not just camo playing with us but also that no parts are yet “production approved.”

Good catch. The passenger side mirror appears much bigger then the driver's side mirror. Wonder why that is.

After all the snow salt that C8 is gonna be destroyed, I'll volunteer my time and $ to save GM all the hassle of crushing it.

Personally, I love the nylon webbing holding up the (extremely misshapen) front spoiler.

No, that's pretty clearly two, or some weird pattern if only one. You can see a bit that isn't hit by the driver's side wiper on the lower right of the windshield.

But man, that's a pretty big unswept area on the passenger side top, why they don't go with the ones that pivot from the outside edge is weird.

There is so much camo on these IVERs that I can’t get a mental image of the final product. The disguise gets better every time.
