The dangling triangle on the door won't be there.

With pressure plates like on C7, it would be easy to place a door opening button just about anywhere they wanted.

The triangular segment is part of the door. It has been there from the earliest prototypes. It's been captured many times when the door is open, and its clearly part of the door. The C8.R photos show it clearly as well. It's really no different than any other car with a sculptured side (Testarossa, 570S, 12C, Gallardo, Carrera GT, etc.)

I still feel it's a fake add on.

could be but maybe Tadge and company want to make it appear that he opened the door when in fact his passenger opened it from the inside.

Maybe there's someone hiding in the car to open the door for him?
