Remember when there was a rumor the C8 was testing at VIR? While some of the shots are of the earliest, rather crude prototype this picture is definitely of a more recent version and that's definitely VIR...

Not VIR... studied it in depth. Been going to VIR for 15 years. Thought it was oak tree but curbs aren't like that. Unless they manipulated or flipped the photo I can't place it.

Tool Hoarder,
Much has changed at VIR, probably only the past few are applicable to details.
Those curbs look very familiar to those present the past few years.
Everything about that image looks like Oak tree turn to me including curbs.
Here is a copy of a picture from VIR in May a few weeks ago.
Study for just a few more minutes...what do you think?
The picture below is a copy of F&S Enterprises photo. F&S is the VIR photographer
for many events at VIR. Great people and great pictures. I've purchased many
but don't have an image of me at Oak tree at this angle...

I agree with you there... that’s it. Could have sworn something made me feel otherwise last time I looked at it. I was there instructing with NASA March and May and ran TT in. May so I’m very familiar with the curbs.
In march a buddy found a piece of the car that crashed the Thursday before we were let in that evening. I posted up about it.
Thats the general shape of the scoop that I’m expecting at the reveal ....
We shall see.
Yep, and its the same general shape we see in the Indy which also was shown in the first video. Looking at the frames above of the prototype, there’s no “winglet” on the door.
Hey Tool Hoarder, what ever happened with that story about the c8 wrecking there?
There are people adamant that it did not happen and was all a myth, but I read where you were the first one to hear it from people who work there, correct?
I realized what threw me off about that being VIR... the hard vertical lip on the inside of the inner curb. But it's just that I've never viewed it in that lighting from that angle.... most photos are softer and you don't see that. Everything else matches up from the two rows of safety wire in the main fence and the second fence top behind it.
We go through all of May with nothing, and now this is what they give us? A video that explains their previous video. Who is running this marketing campaign?
Seems to me they don't need to market it at all. Everyone who cares is already interested.

This is true.... but the lack of the teasers and exciting lean up to the most epic Corvette of all time is disappointing. I'm already sold, have two deposits in, and am selling C7 now, but I still enjoy the lead up. I liked the first teaser video, but the 2nd that just rehashed the first is silly. It's like they got feedback that the first was too difficult for non Corvette people to understand the significance of all the tidbits.
Just keep silent and build the anticipation. Posting worthless teaser videos just frustrates potential customers. We think we are going to see something, and then.... nothing. Again.
